How Many Beachbody Coaches Are There?

A common question that is asked is, How many Beachbody Coaches are there? As of August 30, 2010, at 4:30 pm, there are 30,000 Beachbody Coaches. While 30,000 may seem like a big number, it is actually very small when compared to other popular home based businesses. In fact, Beachbody expect to have over 1 million Coaches in the next 3-4 years. So while 30,000 seems like a large number, this is still a ground floor opportunity with huge growth potential.

As a result of reaching the 30,000 Beachbody Coach milestone, CEO, Carl Daikeler decided to celebrate by donating $150,000 to www.raincatchers.org, a charity that helps countriesn need get clean drinking water. What a great way to celebrate this milestone and also a  great cause.

Update:

As of January 13 2012, there are 60,875 Beachbody Coaches. That may seem like a large number, but it really isn’t considering that Beachbody’s goal is to have 1 million Coaches helping 100 millions customers get healthy and fit. Considering that the cosmetic company Avon, has over 5 and half million distributors worldwide, and their customer base is really only 50% of population, I would say that Beachbody growing to 1 million Coaches is definitely a realistic number.

A lot of people confuse network marketing with pyramid scams. These are usually the people who do not really understand network marketing, or have given it a try and failed. Some of these people have their mind made up, there is nothing they can read, or nothing anyone can say or do that will change their mind. We’ve all met closed minded people like this, and these type of people are definitely not the type of people I would want to prospect to become a new Beachbody Coach.

The type of person I would want to prospect as a Beachbody Coach is an existing Beachbody customer. Someone that has used the product, had great results, and would recommend the product to their friends. After all, that is what network marketing is all about, promoting the product through word of mouth. Before Beachbody had their Coaching business opportunity, customers were already telling their friends about the workout programs and recommending them. So when the Beachbody Coaching business opportunity came available, it made a great fit.

Here is an example of how it works. I know a guy named Billy who is out of shape and has not exercised in a long time. Billy is about 60 pounds overweight and getting worse year after year. One day Billy decides that he has to make a change. He decides to give P90x a try and after 90 days has great results. Billy is now in the best shape of his life, friends, family, and coworkers are all talking about how great he looks and often ask him how he did it. This is when he tells them about P90x and where they can get it. If Billy is a Coach, he sends them to his website that Beachbody provided for him and he would make a commission from everything sold there. Beachbody does not even want you to sell, but recommend the products that you’ve used and enjoyed.

In the video below,the CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, talks about this concept in greater detail and explains how and why the network marketing business model is working so great. Carl also announces that Beachbody is approaching a milestone mark of 30,000 Beachbody Coaches and is celebrating by donating $5 for every Beachbody Coach, $150,000 for raincatchers in Africa to help provide water to those in need. It is great to see Beachbody giving back and helping out for such a great cause.

As a Beachbody Coach myself, it is pretty cool to see Beachbody and Shakeology showing up in the media everywhere. It seems like just about everyday I am hearing or reading something new about P90x or one of Beachbody’s other products. Beachbody is still fairly new company and it is great to be involved as a Beachbody Coach and see the growth happening right before my eyes.

Dold Trump Recommends Network Marketingna

Donald Trump is a fan of network marketing, Trump has even dedicated an entire chapter to in one of his recent books, Why We Want You To Be Rich. In his book, Donald talks about how network marketing is the fastest growing business model and compares it to franchising. Years ago when franchising first became popular, many people questioned the legitimacy of franchising and were opposed to the business model. Today, everyone knows about and has eaten at a McDonalds. Donald is implying  that while many people still oppose the network marketing business model, it is still growing at a record pace and when people actually do their homework and research this model, they will see that there is a real opportunity in network marketing.

Donald Trump also goes on to say, “Looking into this new industry (network marketing), I was surprised to find many major Fortune 500 companies have added a network marketing component to their business. Today many banks, telecom companies, real estate brokerages, credit card companies, and major consumable brands are committed to this new form of people-to-people marketing and distribution. So, my recommendation is to keep an open mind, and if you are looking to start your own business, a network marketing business might be for you.”

For those of you who are skeptical of the network marketing business model, take Donald Trump’s advice and keep an open mind. The more you research and look into it, you’ll see it can be a genuine business opportunity and when treated as a real business, with hard work and some patience, can turn into a very lucrative business for yourself. After all, Donald Trump has proven himself to be a very smart and successful businessman, and if he is willing to dedicate an entire chapter to network marketing, it is worth taking a look into. Donald may not have the best hairstyle, but when it comes to making money, he knows what he is talking about.

P90x is made up of 12 different workouts. One of the workouts is Ab Ripper X. The Ab Ripper X workout focuses the abs and core and is a tough workout. The thing that makes Ab Ripper X so tough is that it is done immediately after another workout. For example, you’ll complete the P90x Chest and Back workout, which is about 53 minutes long, then go on to the Ab Ripper X workout, which is about 15 minutes long.

In the first couple of weeks of the P90x exercise program, you will be pretty exhausted after the workouts, so when it comes time for Ab Ripper X, it can be pretty challenging. The key is to not get discouraged and to take Tony Horton’s advice, “Do your best, and forget the rest.”

Ab Ripper X is made up of 13 different exercise moves, 25 reps each. In the beginning most people will find that 25 reps is just too hard, so I would recommend starting  out with a lower number of reps, even as low as 5 -10 and work your way up. When I first started out doing Ab Ripper X, I only did 10 reps while Tony Horton and the others on the video did 25. This also gave me a little more rest time in between sets. When 10 reps got to be easy I moved up to 12 reps, then 15, reps, and eventually I was able to complete Ab Ripper X doing the complete 25 reps and keeps up with Tony in the video. On day one I thought there was no way I would ever be able to complete Ab Ripper X doing all the moves, I was able to do it in about 60 days.

So, unless you are already in great shape, Ab Ripper X will be  tough workout to keep up on. Just do your best and you’ll be surprised at ow much you improve over time. You will be surprised at what persistent hard work can achieve over time.

P90x and other Beachbody workout were in the news recently…again. It seems as is everywhere I turn I am hearing something about P90x or another Beachbody workout. From celebrities, to supermodels, to the gas station attendant, everyone seems to be talking about Beachbody.

This is all great news for Beachbody Coaches. All of this publicity is helping spread the word about Beachbody and their great workout. After all, if the workouts were no good, people would not be talking about them. Jim Rome Does P90x

I’ve been a fan of Jim Rome for years although I haven’t listened in a awhile since I got satellite radio. Jim is hilarious in the way he rants and raves about things or what he calls as his “takes”. Jim Rome recently started doing P90x and has been talking about it on his radio show a lot. Below is a recording of Jim Rome’s “take” on The P90x Yoga X workout, which in my opinion is the hardest workout out of all 12 workouts. At 90 minutes long, the Yoga X work out is very challenging for someone like myself who is not very flexible.
