Today was day 3 of the Body Beast workout program and today the schedule called for the Build: Back & Bis workout. My triceps are still super sore from day 1’s workout, and my quadriceps are sore from day 2’s workout. I’ve noticed that I seem to get sore the most 2 days after the workout or event that caused me to be sore in the first place. I’m not sure if that is normal or not, I think most people are the sorest the first day after, so maybe I’m weird.

Anyhow, today’s Body Beast Day 3 workout was tough. This workout has been the longest so far at 50 minutes in length. Like the others I wrote about in day 1 and day 2, this workout is fast paced and it is kind of hard to keep up. There is a lot of sets without much rest, so if you fall behind, even for a few seconds, you’re screwed. I had to actually pause the DVD a few times to catch up. But remember, this was my first time doing this workout so it was completely new to me. I’m sure the second and third time around I’ll know the routine and be able to keep up.

The Body Beast Build: Back & Bis workout is made up of a lot different variations of rows, pull up, and curls. By the end of this workout, even Superman’s arms would be toast.

This is only the 3rd day of  Body Beast and so far I’m liking it. I’ve completed the workouts, and have been taking the supplements. The only thing I haven’t stuck to is the nutrition guide. Food tends to be my weak spot. I don’t necessarily eat bad, I just eat what I can prepare the fastest. I’ve been trying to up my calorie intake as recommended. The Body Beast shake I’m drinking is 460 calories, and I basically just added that on top of my normal diet. I’m anxious to see what kind of results I’ll get in 90 days.
