CEO Of Beachbody Gives Advice To New Coaches
Recently the CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, has been doing live Q & A chats on Ustream and those that attend can ask him any question that they want. It is pretty cool to be able to participate in this and watch these chats. He has been doing them about once every 1-2 months. It is great to be able to see and hear the CEO of the company speak in this non formal setting and to see that he wants to be as transparent as possible and address any and all issues that the Beachbody Coaches and customers have.
Below is a clip of the live chat Carl did where he answers the question, “What is your best advice for a Brand new Beachbody Coach?”. Carl gives a great answer and in his answer he put emphasis on 2 things, having a “why”, and treating the business seriously and putting forth a real effort. He mentions that, because the cost is so low to become a Beachbody Coach, it makes it easy for people to quit the business because they have so little invested compared to if the opened up a McDonald’s franchise, and had to invest over a million dollars to get up and running. With having invested a million dollars, most people would give everything they had to make sure their McDonald’s venture was successful. The point of this comparison is, if you want to succeed as a Beachbody Coach, treat it as if you have invested 1 million dollars to get started, treat it seriously, treat it as a real business. There will be obstacles to overcome, but you must have the mindset that nothing, and no one is going to get in the way and stop you from growing a successful Beachbody business.
Below is the clip I pulled from Carl’s chat, if you’d like to see the full 1 hour recording you can do so here: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/19964331
