Changing Your Beachbody Coach Upline Sponsor Or Team
I Can Get A Hold Of My Beachbody Coach Sponsor!
About once a week I get contacted by someone that is a Beachbody Coach and they are wondering how they can get there upline sponsor switched to me. Their story is usually always the same, they say that they signed up to be a Beachbody Coach and have had little to no contact with their sponsor and want to know how they can work with me.
Unfortunately there is no way to change your sponsor once you are already signed up to be a Beachbody Coach. If a Coach wants to change their sponsor, the only way to do it is to cancel their account completely, then re-sign back up with the sponsor of their choice six months later. Cancelling your Beachbody Coach account and waiting 6 months, just to get a new sponsor is something I strongly do not recommend. You don’t want to waste 6 months of building your business by just waiting.
Beachbody created this rule, because they don’t want Coaches switching teams when they think they are better off somewhere else. Many Coaches will sign up, then come across a Coach that is more successful, or just a better overall fit for them, and want to work with that Coach instead of the original Coach that sponsored them into the business. Being able to switch isn’t fair to the original Coach the introduced this person to the business. So I agree with the rule of not being able to switch Coaches or teams.
It is important to realize that your upline Beachbody Coach sponsor has little to do with your own success. It is not about who your sponsor is, or what team you are on, what matters is what effort you are willing to put into your business. This is YOUR business and there is no one that is going to do it for you.
This is what I tell the Coaches that contact me and ask me how they can switch to me. Once you are already a Coach, you shouldn’t worry about switching. There is enough training and information provided to Coaches that they will be able to learn everything they need to know, and be successful, even without a sponsor.
Typically, your sponsor will be happy to help you and answer any questions that you have. If you can’t get a hold of them, try calling your Diamond, or Star Diamond Coach, their contact information is listed in your Coach online office for this reason. As a Beachbody Coach, all of the Coaches that are in your upline have a vested interest in seeing you succeed, so they will be willing to help you in any way that they can.
Do not rely on your sponsor. This is your business so take control. Don’t wait for your sponsor to contact you, contact them. There are no rules that say you can’t out perform and earn more than your sponsor does, that should actually be your goal. Don’t set your goals based on what your sponsor has accomplished.
However, if you are not a Coach yet, but a customer at Team Beachbody, you have the option of changing whoever your assigned Coach is before you sign up. This an option you will want to take advantage of if you can. It is best to signup with a Coach who is active in the business and is willing to work with you and answer your questions (like me for example
