Whereas Week 1 was labeled, &#8220;Reclaim,&#8221; Week 2 is labeled &#8220;Release&#8221; for obvious reasons.</p><p>My meals for Day 8 consisted of the following:</p><p>Breakfast &#8211; Blueberries (1 cup), Navel Orange (7 segments), Grapes (1 cup)</p><p>Obviously this is an easy meal to &#8220;make&#8221; so not only is it very tasty, it&#8217;s quick and effortless!!!</p><p>Lunch &#8211; Microgreen Salad, Creamy Garlic Dressing, Avoacado (1/8 sliced)</p><p>So there I was in Day 8 of 21 of the Reset eating another salad. Although I do like salad a lot, I will say this Reset makes the taste of lettuce get old real quick!!! I did switch up the dressing for this week which was a nice change, but I&#8217;m kinda over eating salad. I will say though that these salads are very easy to make so they have that going for them.</p><p>Dinner &#8211; Pinto Beans and Rice, Zucchini (1 cup), String Beans w/Lemon</p><p><a

Although I&#8217;m not a big fan of zucchini, I do love beans and rice and I love string beans even more! All 3 of these things were easy to make and the string beans w/lemon recipe is one that I will use long after the Reset as it makes the string beans even more delicious than usual!</p><p>Supplements for Day 8:</p><p>All the supplements are the same as week 1, but a &#8220;Detox&#8221; packet is added 3x/day&#8230;before breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I&#8217;ve read numerous reviews of people complaining about the taste of the &#8220;Detox,&#8221; but IMO, the &#8220;Alkalanize&#8221; is still worse&#8230;haha.</p><p>Closing out my review of Day 8, here are my 2 favorite things about the Reset so far as well as my 2 least favorite things about the Reset:</p><p><strong>Favorite</strong></p><p>1) I do not like to cook. This is the main reason I&#8217;m overweight, out of shape, etc. Through the 1st 8 days of the Reset, I&#8217;m pleasantly surprised at how easy the recipes are and this is coming from someone who can barely tell the difference between a spoon and a fork&#8230;lol.</p><p>2) I love fruit and this Reset includes eating a lot of fruit so if you&#8217;re a fruit lover like I am, the Reset is definitely for you!!!</p><p><strong>Least Favorite</strong></p><p>1) I understand the importance of drinking water throughout the day, but there has to be something else we can drink that isn&#8217;t bad for you like soda, coffee, etc. Drinking over 100 ounces of water/day is becoming  redundant and my taste buds are yearning for something different.</p><p>2) I&#8217;ve wasted a lot of food on the Reset. The ingredient list for the most part includes portions that are very small so when you use what you need to make a meal, you have a lot left over that won&#8217;t be used again. Not only is the Reset expensive, but I hate to waste food.</p><p>All in all, I&#8217;m very happy after the 1st 8 days of the Reset that I took this challenge. 8 down, 13 to go!!!</p><p>Jimmy</p><p>&nbsp;</p> <iframe

href="http://getpaidwithfitness.net/beachbody-products/beachbody-ultimate-reset/">Beachbody Ultimate Reset</a>, here’s my review.</p><p><strong>MEALS:</strong></p><p>BREAKFAST – Tropical Shakeology blended w/Frozen Fruit (1 cup)</p><p>LUNCH –  Zucchini-Cashew Soup (1 serving), Microgreen Salad, Basic Vinaigrette Dressing, Avocado (1/4 sliced)</p><p>SNACK – Apple</p><p>DINNER – Baked Tempeh (3), Cauliflower (1 serving), Brown Rice (1 serving)</p><p>I decided to supplement Tropical Shakeology for breakfast. As for the rest of the meals for Day 7, I&#8217;m happy I won&#8217;t have to eat the Zucchini-Cashew Soup and Baked Tempeh anymore!!!</p><p><strong>SUPPLEMENTS (same for each day of week 1):</strong></p><p>MINERALIZE – 4 pinches</p><p>OXYGENIZE – 30-45 drops</p><p>OPTIMIZE – 6 capsules</p><p>ALKALINIZE – 1 packet</p><p>Different day, same opinion of the Alkalinize…nasty!</p><p><strong>WATER (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT):</strong></p><p>Drinking DISTILLED water is extremely important during the Reset. Headaches can be a side effect of the Ultimate Reset as your body is getting rid of all the toxins so staying hydrated is key to helping keep the headaches to a minimum. I continue to drink a gallon of water (128 ounces) today and will continue to do so for the entirety of the Reset. From my understanding, you’re supposed to drink (in ounces) “half your weight” so considering my weight was 258 on Monday, a gallon of water is recommended.</p><p><strong>TIME-LINE:</strong></p><p>10:00am – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>10:30am – Breakfast</p><p>3:00pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>3:30pm – Lunch</p><p>6:00pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/ALKALINIZE)</p><p>6:30pm – Snack</p><p>9:00pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>9:30pm – Dinner</p><p><strong>THOUGHTS AFTER DAY 7:</strong></p><p>One week is in the books!!! I got on the scale this morning and I weighed 249 which means I lost 9 lbs suring week one of three of the Reset!</p><p>My energy level was off the charts yesterday. I can&#8217;t remember the last time I felt as good and had as much energy as I did yesterday. It&#8217;s pretty obvious to me that the Reset is working!</p><p>And through the first week of the Reset, I didn&#8217;t have any headaches which is obviously a good thing. After reading through some of the reviews on the Beachbody site, I was somewhat concerned that I would experience headaches, but fortunately, I haven&#8217;t to this point. I&#8217;m assuming this is partially due to the amount of distilled water I&#8217;m drinking on a daily basis.</p><p><strong>GOALS (Reiterated):</strong></p><p>1) Although losing weight is not my main goal of the Reset, I would like to lose 15 lbs after the 21st day and get down to 243.</p><p><strong>UPDATE AFTER WEEK 1 OF THE RESET:  As mentioned above, I weighed in this morning at 249!!! 9 lbs down, 6 to go to reach my goal!</strong></p><p>2) My main goal is to get my body in a better “state” after 21 days as I hope to start INSANITY after finishing the Reset. I tried INSANITY before, but I was in such terrible shape, I only last about 5 days. I’m hoping that after completing this Reset, my body will be better able to handle the INSANITY workouts.</p><p><strong>UPDATE AFTER WEEK 1 OF THE RESET:  As I also mentioned above, I definitely think the Reset is working for me in an effort to achieve this goal. I had so much enery yesterday that I considered running a few miles and running is on my list of top 3 things I hate to do!!!</strong></p><p>3) After the 21 days are complete, I hope to actually enjoy cooking and I hope to have gained a liking for 4-5 meals that are included in the Reset that I can make on a regular basis.</p><p><strong>UPDATE AFTER WEEK 1 OF THE RESET:  Achieving this goal could go either way after the next two weeks&#8230;haha. I will say that I cooked more meals over the past week than I have over the past year. class="wp-caption-text">Ultimate Reset Day 6 Review</p></div><p>Yesterday was Day 6 of the the Beachbody Ultimate Reset, here’s my review.</p><p><strong>MEALS:</strong></p><p>BREAKFAST – Baked Tempeh (3), Whole-Grain Toast (1 slice), Avocado (1/8 sliced), Kale (1/2 cup)</p><p>LUNCH –  Quinoa Salad, Microgreen Salad, Basic Vinaigrette Dressing</p><p>SNACK – Edamame (1 cup)</p><p>DINNER – Root Medley, Zucchini-Cashew Soup (1/2 serving), Brown Rice (1 cup) (substituted for millet)</p><p>Opposite of Day 5, I didn&#8217;t like much on yesterday&#8217;s menu. The Tempeh was kinda blah, the Root Medley was not my thing, and I didn&#8217;t care for the Zucchini soup (I don&#8217;t like zucchini). Other than that, the food for Day 5 was great&#8230;lol. I substituted Brown Rice for Millet because I forgot to grab it when I went to Whole Foods. Also, I changed up the snack (normally a green apple) as I love Edamame!!!</p><p>SUPPLEMENTS (same for each day of week 1):</p><p>MINERALIZE – 4 pinches</p><p>OXYGENIZE – 30-45 drops</p><p>OPTIMIZE – 6 capsules</p><p>ALKALINIZE – 1 packet</p><p>Different day, same opinion of the Alkalinize…nasty!</p><p>THOUGHTS AFTER DAY 6:</p><p>So there is good news and bad news. The bad news is I finally gave in and drank a Diet Mtn Dew. I know, I know, I shouldn&#8217;t have done it, but I did and to be honest, I didn&#8217;t really like it as much as usual. I do like a lot of the food in this Reset so far, but I think some of it lends itself to having a soda craving, at least for me (if that makes sense). I will get back on the train today and deny myself diet soda!</p><p>Now for the good news. I decided to get on the scale this morning and I&#8217;m down to 249!!! So, in the 1st six days of the Ultimate Reset, I&#8217;ve lost 9 lbs! As I stated in my goals section, losing weight is not my main goal in the program, but it is nice to see results in a quantifiable fashion such as weight loss.</p><p>As far as my hunger level today, it was the &#8220;easiest&#8221; day so far in terms of not being hungry throughout the day. I admit that weekends are the toughest for me to eat healthy because I like to lounge around and watch sports on TV which makes me want to eat Chipotle, etc, but I didn&#8217;t crave it yesterday so hopefully this is a good sign going forward.</p><p>My energy level was better yesterday&#8230;hoping this continues as well.</p><p>GOALS (Reiterated):</p><p>1) Although losing weight is not my main goal of the Reset, I would like to lose 15 lbs after the 21st day and get down to 243. I will do a one-week weight check tomorrow, but as of the morning of Day 6, I&#8217;m down 9 lbs!!!</p><p>2) My main goal is to get my body in a better “state” after 21 days as I hope to start INSANITY after finishing the Reset. I tired INSANITY before, but I was in such terrible shape, I only last about 5 days. So far, through 3 days, I will say my favorite meals have been the Oatmeal &amp; Yogurt as part of breakfast of Day 2 as well as the Day 2 Dinner of Black Beans &amp; Rice. This is the first time I tried hummus&#8230;loved it!!!</p><p>SUPPLEMENTS (same for each day of week 1):</p><p>MINERALIZE – 4 pinches</p><p>OXYGENIZE – 30-45 drops</p><p>OPTIMIZE – 6 capsules</p><p>ALKALINIZE – 1 packet</p><p>Different day, same opinion of the Alkalinize…nasty!</p><p>WATER (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT):</p><p>Drinking DISTILLED water is extremely important during the Reset. Headaches can be a side effect of the Ultimate Reset as your body is getting rid of all the toxins so staying hydrated is key to helping keep the headaches to a minimum (I haven&#8217;t had any yet&#8230;knock on wood). I continue to drink a gallon of water (128 ounces) today and will continue to do so for the entirety of the Reset. From my understanding, you’re supposed to drink (in ounces) “half your weight” so considering my weight was 258 on Monday, a gallon of water is recommended.</p><p>TIME-LINE:</p><p>7:10am – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>7:40am – Breakfast</p><p>11:20pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>11:50pm – Lunch</p><p>3:20pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/ALKALINIZE)</p><p>3:50pm – Snack</p><p>7:00pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>7:30pm – Dinner</p><p>THOUGHTS AFTER DAY 5:</p><p>5 days in and I still haven’t had a diet soda!!!</p><p>As far as my hunger level today, I was hungriest after dinner again, but I was able to  withstand the cravings and didn&#8217;t eat anything post-dinner.  Through the first five days of the Reset, my after-dinner cravings were the worst last night…still not as bad as they usually are, but worse than they were during Days 1-4. In general, Day 5 was the toughest so far. I was hungry pretty much all day&#8230;hoping this subsides.</p><p>My energy level was better yesterday, but still not to the level I&#8217;m hoping for.</p><p>GOALS (Reiterated):</p><p>1) Although losing weight is not my main goal of the Reset, I would like to lose 15 lbs after the 21st day and get down to 243.</p><p>2) My main goal is to get my body in a better “state” after 21 days as I hope to start INSANITY after finishing the Reset. I tired INSANITY before, but I was in such terrible shape, I only last about 5 days. I’m hoping that after completing this Reset, my body will be better able to handle the INSANITY workouts.</p><p>3) After the 21 days are complete, I hope to actually enjoy cooking and I hope to have gained a liking for 4-5 meals that are included in the Reset that I can make on a regular basis. So far, through 3 days, I will say my favorite meals have been the Oatmeal &amp; Yogurt as part of breakfast of Day 2 as well as the Day 2 Dinner of Black Beans &amp; Rice. All three portions of dinner were really good! Last night was the first time I tried Quinoa and I was pleasantly surprised. I find that my biggest temptation is during meals especially when I eat something like Quinoa.</p><p>As far as my hunger level today, I was hungriest after dinner so I decided to have a snack (Green Apple). Yes, I know this isn&#8217;t recommended, but as I mentioned above, I didn&#8217;t feel so bad considering I would nromally make a run to McDs or Burger King given the same situation in the past. Through the first four days of the Reset, my after-dinner cravings were the worst last night…still not as bad as they usually are, but worse than they were during Days 1-3.</p><p>In regards to my energy level, I started to feel a difference yesterday in the afternoon. Normally when I get home from work, I&#8217;m exhausted, but I felt a lot better yesterday. Hopefully that was the start of an increased energy level due to the Reset!</p><p>QUESTIONS FOR MARCUS (sorry to ask again&#8230;didn&#8217;t see an answer to this one yesterday):</p><p>1) What is the optimal amount of sleep I should get every night? 8 hrs? 7 hrs? href='http://getpaidwithfitness.net/beachbody-ultimate-reset-daily-journal/' rel='bookmark' title='Beachbody Ultimate Reset Review Day 1'>Beachbody Ultimate Reset Review Day 1</a></li></ol>]]></description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Today was Day 3 of the the Beachbody Ultimate Reset, here’s my review.</p><p><strong>MEALS:</strong></p><p>BREAKFAST – Scrambled Eggs, Whole-Grain Toast, Kale w/Pine Nuts</p><p>LUNCH –  Lentil Lime Salad, Microgreen Salad w/Basic Vinaigrette Dressing</p><p>SNACK – Apple w/Peanut Butter</p><p>DINNER – Tropical Shakeology w/Frozen Mixed Berries</p><p>Breakfast was the same as Day 1. Lunch was somewhat of a new meal as it included a Lentil Lime Salad which personally, I was somewhat indifferent towards as it didn&#8217;t really have much taste. The recommended dinner was Nori Rolls w/Tempeh, but I couldn&#8217;t find Tempeh Strips so I substituted the Tropical Shakeology w/Frozen Mixed Berries. I know it&#8217;s ok to substitute the Tropical Shakeology for a meal, but I&#8217;m not sure if it matters which meal&#8230;hope not&#8230;Marcus? I blended a scoop of the Shakeology w/Frozen Mixed Berries and 8 ounces of water and it was really good!!!</p><p>SUPPLEMENTS (same for each day of week 1):</p><p>MINERALIZE – 4 pinches</p><p>OXYGENIZE – 30-45 drops</p><p>OPTIMIZE – 6 capsules</p><p>ALKALINIZE – 1 packet</p><p>Different day, same opinion of the Alkalinize&#8230;nasty!</p><p>WATER (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT):</p><p>Drinking DISTILLED water is extremely important during the Reset. Headaches can be a side effect of the Ultimate Reset as your body is getting rid of all the toxins so staying hydrated is key to helping keep the headaches to a minimum. Based on my weight this morning (258), I decided to drink a gallon of water (128 ounces) today and will continue to do so for the entirety of the Reset. From my understanding, you’re supposed to drink (in ounces) “half your weight.”</p><p>TIME-LINE:</p><p>7:20am – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>7:50am – Breakfast</p><p>12:20pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>12:50pm – Lunch</p><p>3:25pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/ALKALINIZE)</p><p>3:55pm – Snack</p><p>8:00pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)</p><p>8:30pm – Dinner</p><p>THOUGHTS AFTER DAY 3:</p><p>3 days in and I still haven&#8217;t had a diet soda!!! I know it sounds lame, but I&#8217;m kinda proud of myself for this because I really am addicted to diet soda.</p><p>As far as my hunger level today, I was hungriest between lunch and dinner so I decided to have a snack again today. As I mentioned yesterday, one of my biggest problems in terms of eating healthy is that I eat late at night and to make it worse, I eat terrible food late at night. Through the first three days of the Reset, my after-dinner cravings haven&#8217;t been that bad&#8230;nowhere near as bad as they usually are.</p><p>I wasn&#8217;t as sluggish and exhausted today as I was yesterday, but I&#8217;m starting to wonder when I&#8217;ll actually feel the positive effects of the Reset. Hopefully I will feel a jolt of energy over the next few days because that is one of the positive effects of the Reset that made me want to complete the program.</p><p>QUESTIONS FOR MARCUS:</p><p>1) I hate to ask this&#8230;I haven&#8217;t done a #2 since Monday&#8230;is this normal?</p><p>2) What is the optimal amount of sleep I should get every night? 8 hrs? 7 hrs? More?</p><p>GOALS (Reiterated) (#3 IS AN ADDITION):</p><p>1) Although losing weight is not my main goal of the Reset, I would like to lose 15 lbs after the 21st day and get down to 243.</p><p>2) My main goal is to get my body in a better “state” after 21 days as I hope to start INSANITY after finishing the Reset. I tired INSANITY before, but I was in such terrible shape, I only last about 5 days. I’m hoping that after completing this Reset, my body will be better able to handle the INSANITY workouts.</p><p>3) After the 21 days are complete, I hope to actually enjoy cooking and I hope to have gained a liking for 4-5 meals that are included in the Reset that I can make on a regular basis. So far, through 3 days, I will say my favorite meals have been the Oatmeal &amp; Yogurt as part of breakfast of Day 2 as well as the Day 2 Dinner of Black Beans &amp; Rice. As opposed to yesterday, today I was hungry in between lunch and dinner so I ate a snack. The breakfast mix of Oatmeal, Yogurt, etc was really good and the Black Beans &amp; Rice w/Guac inside the Corn Tortillas was even better!</p><p>SUPPLEMENTS (same for each day of week 1):</p><p>MINERALIZE – 4 pinches</p><p>OXYGENIZE – 30-45 drops</p><p>OPTIMIZE – 6 capsules</p><p>ALKALINIZE – 1 packet</p><p>As I also mentioned yesterday, I personally dodn’t care for the taste of the Alkalinize, but the portion is small enough to be able to deal with it once/day. href="http://getpaidwithfitness.net/beachbody-products/beachbody-ultimate-reset/">Ultimate Reset</a> that the biggest challenge for me will be to eliminate diet soda from my daily routine. And after doing the Reset for the first two days, I was right again. It is really tough for me to stay away from the diet soda especially eating something like Black Beans &amp; Rice in a Corn Tortilla. I just keep telling myself that this is only 21 days and even after the Reset is complete, I hope to cut way back on my diet soda intake.</p><p>Other than between lunch and dinner, I wasn’t really hungry today. One of my biggest problems in terms of eating healthy is that I eat late at night and to make it worse, I eat terrible food late at night. Through the first two days of the Reset, I’ve been able to manage my cravings after dinner and I haven’t been that hungry so I’m hoping this continues. As I noted in yesterday’s review I think drinking a lot of water throughout the day as well as 5-10 minutes before meals helped keep my appetite down especially after dinner.</p><p>Regarding how I felt today, I was pretty sluggish and exhausted all day. I’m not sure if this is normal during the first few days of the Reset, but for someone who is usually sluggish and tired during the day, today was a whole new level of those bad feelings. As far as headaches go, I didn’t really have any today so I’m hoping that trend continues.</p><p>QUESTIONS FOR MARCUS:</p><p>1) Does it matter what time I eat breakfast? class="wp-caption-text">Can Beachbody Coaches Make Money?</p></div><p>You have probably heard of this Beachbody Coaching thing, maybe you know someone that is a Coach, or you&#8217;ve heard Tony Horton, Shaun T, or Chalene Johnson mention it in one of their workout videos and are curious on what it is and want to know if <strong>Beachbody Coaches can make money</strong>. Whatever the case may be, I&#8217;m going to answer your question and explain to you what Beachbody Coaching is and how it works.</p><p>Let me start off by saying that the word &#8220;Coaching&#8221; is kind of deceiving. As a Beachbody Coach, you aren&#8217;t actually coaching people when it comes to demonstrating moves and proper form, the trainers of the workout programs do that. However, Coaches do consult with potential and current customers on what workout will be best for them to reach their goals, answer their questions on diet and nutrition, and help keep them accountable in anyway that you can. Even though customers may ask their Coach questions, Beachbody Coaches don&#8217;t have to be experts on fitness and nutrition, they will be able to refer to the specific program guides and nutrition guides to help them answer the questions if the need to. So technically, since the customers has all of the information they need, as a Coach myself, I find that most customers don&#8217;t even have questions.</p><p>Now you are probably asking yourself, &#8220;so if a Beachbody Coach doesn&#8217;t really coach, what do they do?&#8217;</p><p>I understand the confusion, the word &#8220;Coach&#8221; can be a little misleading, it all depends on how you look at it. In this case, the word &#8220;Coach&#8221; is acting as a synonym for &#8220;distributor&#8221;. Beachbody Coaches are really distributors for the company, and make a 25% commission from all of the sales that make.</p><h3>So the answer is yes, Beachbody Coaches can make money.</h3><p>Buying products from a Beachbody Coach actually benefits the customers. When a customer shops from a Beachbody Coach, that Coach will be their own personal Coach, be able to answer any questions that they have, and help them through the program. When a customer shops from a Beachbody Coach they also get exclusive bonus workouts that they wouldn&#8217;t get if they purchased through the infomercial or from beachbody.com. For example, when a customer purchases <a
href="http://getpaidwithfitness.net/beachbody-products/p90x/">P90x</a> from a Coach, they 2 get bonus workout DVDs worth a total value of $40, that they can&#8217;t get anywhere else, and the price is exactly the same.</p><p>Being a Beachbody Coach is being a home business owner. Beachbody launched this business opportunity because customers where having such great results with their workouts, and when you lose 20, 30, or even 100 pounds like some of the customers have, people are going to be asking what you&#8217;re doing to lose the weight. Customers where recommending Beachbody workouts to their friends and coworkers, so Beachbody decided to reward the customers for their referral and created the Beachbody Coach business opportunity. Now I&#8217;m sure they put a little bit more thought into than what I&#8217;ve described above, but the concept  i described is why the business model works so well. This is a &#8220;word of mouth&#8221; business model, and Beachbody has the perfect &#8220;word of mouth business model&#8221;.</p><p><a

I think drinking a lot of water throughout the day as well as 5-10 minutes before meals helped keep my appetite down.</p><p><strong>GOALS:</strong></p><p>1) Although losing weight is not my main goal of the Reset, I would like to lose 15 lbs after the 21st day and get down to 243.</p><p>2) My main goal is to get my body in a better &#8220;state&#8221; after 21 days as I hope to start <a
href="http://getpaidwithfitness.net/beachbody-products/insanity/">INSANITY</a> after finishing the Reset. I tired INSANITY before, but I was in such terrible shape, I only last about 5 days.
