P90x Days 53, 54, 55, and 56, Recovery Week
I am into the second recovery week of P90x. My days are are screwed up though because I extended the phase between weeks 5-7. So I did an extra week worth of workouts before the second recovery week. I added this extra week because I screwed up my schedule. I somehow looked at the P90x lean schedule and was going off that for 2 weeks. I somehow only ended up 4 days behind schedule even with adding an extra week.
So the past 4 days were the start of the second recovery week. Although it is a recovery week, it is still pretty tough, yoga 2 times this week, ouch. Day 53 was yoga x. Yoga is still very hard for me but for some reason I like this workout, it’s challenging and different.
Day 54 of P90x was core synergistics. Core Synergistics is a total body workout that focuses on strengthening the lumbar spine and trunk muscles. It is made up up a wide variety of all different kinds of moves and exercises.
Day 55 of P90x was Kenpo X. I skipped this workout and substituted it with my Muay Thai kickboxing class. These classes can be very exhausting and is probably harder than the Kenpo workout, so I don’t feel guilty for skipping the Kenpo X workout.
Day 56 of my P90x workout was the stretching routine. This is just a relaxing hour of stretching out the entire body. I feel great after this workout is over.
