Becoming A Beachbody Coach

A million dollars a year is a lot of money. If we break it down to a daily amount, it comes out to $2739.73 a day. So all you need to do to earn million dollars is find a way to earn $2739.73 a day. But what jobs pay that much?

Let’s break it down hourly, to earn a million dollars a year earning a hourly wage, you would have to make a little under $343 an hour and work 8 hours a day, seven days week, every day of the entire year. Upon doing a little research, I couldn’t find many jobs that pay that kind of hourly way. To earn a million dollars a year you need to be a professional athlete, an actor or celebrity of some kind, own a profitable company, or be the CEO of a large company. Those are the most common ways to earn a million dollars a year, so please excuse my language when I say, how the HELL can a friggin Beachbody Coach earn a million dollars a year? How is it possible to earn that kind of income selling P90x and Shakeology? It just doesn’t make sense.

I’m very happy to inform you that it not only possible, but it has been done. In the image below, you can see the highest and lowest earnings of the the different ranks of Beachbody Coaches. In the chart you can see that the highest amount a Beachbody Coach earned in 2010 was $1,052,383!

As you can see from the numbers above, it is possible to make some SERIOUS cash as a Beachbody Coach, but how is it possible?

Beachbody Coaches have the opportunity to earn a large income because the are able to use leverage to build a large organization of Coaches. Leverage is the key component in obtaining wealth. In regular companies, business owners leverage employees who are willing to work for an hourly wage. But Beachbody’s business model is much different than a regular corporation. It would be a rare occasion for the owner of a company to train an employee with the hopes that the employee would someday surpass him or her. In most cases, employees never have the opportunity to earn more than the owner of the company. If an employee want to earn more money, the only option the employee has is to start his or her own company, and would then be direct competition to their former boss. This is why owners never really share their secrets or train employees to their full potential, out of fear that they will someday leave them and be there competition. This is very common in real estate, the construction business, and many other industries.

On the other hand, in Beachbody’s business model, when someone brings a new Coach into the business, it is actually beneficial to the sponsor if the new Coach does well. So the sponsor will do everything they can to make sure the new Coach gets trained properly, and the sponsor will also share any secret tips or methods they use. Network marketing is a unique business because it is the only business where you would root for your distributors to do better than yourself. It comes down to real teamwork, because if the sponsee doesn’t do well, then the sponsor doesn’t do well. The sponsor has a vested interest in seeing their sponsee do well.

Anyhow, I think I might have started to go off topic a little bit, lets get back on track. In the video below, I show how the Beachbody Coach team building process works, how the cycle bonuses work, and how it is possible for a Beachbody Coach to earn a million dollars.

I’m not saying making a million dollars in this business easy, in fact, I will say that it is hard. It takes some real work. Things will have to be learned and there will be ups and downs. But the fact that it is possible and can be done is very motivating. The possibility of earning a million dollars a year at your everyday 9-5 office job doesn’t exist. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, even after 30 years, there is now way you can ever earn that kind of money working for a hourly wage or salary, for someone else. Even with all the over time in the world. That fact is kind of depressing when you think about it, to be limited in what you can earn and what you can do. More and more people are starting to see the benefits of network marketing and the industry continues to grow year after year. Are you ready to change your life?

Ben Stiller Does P90x

P90x makes the Tonight Show! Last night, shrunken comedy actor, Jonah Hill, appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Jonah was noticeably smaller and it was obvious he had lost a considerable amount of weight. Jay asked Jonah what he did to lose the weight and Jonah replied by saying he was eating right and exercising. What a shocker? I never would of thought that eating healthy and exercising would make someone lose weight, what a concept! Anyhow, Jonah went on to mention that his costar in a new movie he is currently working on, Ben Stiller, is doing P90x and how he is in “crazy good shape”. He also mentioned that Ben convinced him to try P90x, although he stated that he hasn’t really dived into it yet.

I’m adding Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill to the list of professional athletes and celebrities that do P90x.

As a Beachbody Coach, it is always great to see Beachbody products in the media. Ben Stiller is in amazing shape and him crediting P90x for that says a lot. P90x is not just some silly fad. It is an intense workout that has become so popular because it produces results for anyone who follows the program. There is no fancy equipment needed, and it can be done in a small one bedroom apartment.

Beachbody Gives Us The Land And Materials To Build Our "Dream House"

Approximately 4 years ago, at the time of this writing, Beachbody launched their home business opportunity which has grown to over 60,000 distributors, and that number is growing on a daily basis. The opportunity has been extremely successful and has changed many lives physically, and financially. While there are no guarantees that everyone who joins is going to make money. How successful a person is depends entirely on the effort the individual. It is just like anything else in life, you get out what you put in. The concept can be compared to P90x, you can’t just buy the DVDs and sit on the couch and watch them. You have you actually do the workouts, and give an honest effort if you want to see results.

Allowing Beachbody customers who love the workouts to participate in this business opportunity is truly a gift. Although anyone can sign up and participate in the business, I’ve found that those most successful are the ones who actually use the products themselves, and have seen great results with them. In a business like this, in order to be successful, one has to have a true belief in the product, this way it is not really “selling”, but sharing.

I compare Beachbody’s business opportunity to building a house. Beachbody is give their distributors the land, and all of the materials they need completely for free. All one needs to do to take advantage of the gift, is learn how to build a house. Think about it, if someone was going to give you an acre of land, and all of the materials you needed to build your dream home from the ground up, and the only catch was you had to build the house yourself, would you take the time to learn how to build that house?

Of course you would. You may have to buy some books, and take some classes to learn how everything is done, but once that house is built, it would totally be worth it. If you are lucky, you may have a little knowledge on building a house, but in most cases, there is a learning process for us all. This is a real business that has a competitive nature to it. Those who invest in themselves to learn things such as marketing, adverting, prospecting, lead generation, or any skill that will help grow their business, will be the ones who succeed. Expect the first year to be a learning year in which you become competent in the business.

When I say, “Beachbody is giving us the land and materials”, I’m referring to the fact that we are allowed to use their already established brand, they provide great training, and have a game plan for Coaches to follow. But the responsibility still falls on the individual to take advantage of all of the things that are offered. Just like the saying goes, “you can lead a horse to water….”.

Beachbody is giving us a gift by allowing to us to share their products with others, and get paid for it. $2B Announcement From Carl Daikeler

The CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler announced some great news about an accomplishment the company has on his facebook wall yesterday. Since taking its first order back in 1999, Beachbody has officially crossed over $2 billion dollars in sales. This is a great accomplishment and is a milestone only the very top direct selling companies reach. I wish I had the yearly numbers and a chart to show how the sales numbers increase year after year.  But I was unable to find that information.

It won’t be long before Beachbody is a billion dollar a year company. Their business opportunity, which is made up of a network of distributors called Beachbody Coaches, is still only available in the U.S. and plans to go international are on the horizon. As a Beachbody Coach myself, this is all great news. The business opportunity is still ground floor and their is plenty of room for growth. It won’t be long until Beachbody is rubbing elbows with some of the other international top direct selling companies like Avon, Amway, Vorwerk, Herbalife, and Mary Kay. all which do easily over a billion dollar a year in sales. It is great to be involved with such a great company. I’ve been a distributor with the company for 2.5 years and even in that short time I’ve been able to witness great changes they have made, and new tools and training they have provided to help all distributors grow their business. With new and exciting product launches on the horizon, and plans to expand into other countries, I’m sure Beachbody will eventually reach their goal of having 1 million Beachbody Coaches. This number may sound high, but when you compare it to a company like Avon, which as of Feb 2010, had 5.8 million active sales representatives worldwide in more than 100 different countries, you can see how reaching 1 million Coaches is a realistic goal which I am certain will not only be reached but surpassed.

Beachbody is a great company with great products. Customers who use and love the products are encouraged to sign up as Coaches, and they can earn some income recommending Beachbody products to their friends. It makes sense, most customers are already talking to their friends about the products anyhow.

Once again Beachbody and P90x is in the news. It is always good when the company I am involved with get this kind of attention. It helps create brand awareness which makes my job as a Beachbody Coach (distributor) much easier. As a Beachbody Coach, my job is simply sharing with others products that I use and love, and informing people about the solutions that Beachbody provides to help one reach their health and fitness goals. Because the Beachbody and P90x brand have become so popular, I often don’t even have to explain the product, people already know what it is. There is really no “selling” involved on my part, rather I share and recommend. P90x is a product that gets results and people love it. So every time I do make a “sale”, I feel good about knowing that I’ve helped someone reach their fitness goals.

But Beachbody is more than just P90x. They have a workout program for just about everyone. There is Insanity, Turbo Fire, Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, Slim In 6, and many others chose from. In the video below, which is the news clip I mentioned above, Carl Daikeler, CEO of Beachbody talks about the other programs and why P90x is so popular. The news reporter says something along the lines of, “it seems kind of culty”. Are Carl goes on to explain that people love the program because it works. A lot of people don’t want to go to the gym and want to workout at home. Beachbody’s workout programs are targeted towards these people.

But there is also the people who have gym memberships, go a few times a week, but don’t really break over that plateau and achieve the kind of results they are looking for. They try a Beachbody workout, get the results they are looking for, and never return back to the gym.

It makes sense, driving back and forth to the gym takes time, and gas money. Why not just workout at home with a Beachbody product. When compared to the price of a gym membership, people who use Beachbody workout programs are actually saving money in the long run.

How To Grow Your Beachbody Business

The great thing about a network marketing business is that there really is no black and white way to do things. There really is no “wrong” way to do things, there is only whatever way works best for you. Obviously if something you are doing is not working, then it might be time to try something new. But if the opposite is true, then stick to what works. You can chose to market offline, to friends, family, co-workers, or anyone that you encounter throughout your day. Or you can market your business online, with pay per click ads, search engine traffic, through social media, email autoresponders, or whatever tools you can come across that will effectively help you grow your business.

Some people focus on one or the other, but really a combination of both is the best way to build your Beachbody Coach business. Ultimately this is a relationship business and in order to be successful you are going to have to talk to people and build relationships with the Coaches you sponsor, and your customers. So if your deathly afraid of talking to people, either on the phone, or in person, you are going to have to get over your fear if you want to be successful. But don’t be discouraged if you don’t consider yourself a “good speaker”. This is something that you can learn with practice. Most of us start out afraid and not very good on the phone, but with some practice, we eventually get better. Of course we may stumble and fall in the beginning, but that is to be expected when becoming proficient in doing anything for the first time.

With that being said, there still are ways you can use the internet to build your Beachbody Coach business. With network marketing, it really is a numbers game. I said this before, the person who gets the most nos always ends up on top. The internet can be used to generate leads for your Beachbody Coach business. But even with leads, you will have to call them on the phone, and learn what to say to them. Luckily all of these skills are learnable and are something we can all learn to do, it just may take some practice. You can’t expect to be able to handle every objection like a professional with 30 years experience if you have only been in the business one month, these things take time to learn.

Even if you don’t have a fear of the phone, a great product that I recommend is the audio training series Blackbelt Recruiting. This is an approximately 6 hour course that you can listen to during your commute back and forth to work everyday. I personally own this course and it has definitely taught me a lot. It is better to spend your time on listening to something that is educational and can provide valuable information, than listening to your Spice Girls CD. In the video below I discuss some way to generate leads online. I talk about google and facebook pay par click ads, search engine traffic, and the importance of lead capture pages and using an autoresponder. I don’t go real in depth and just go into the basics.

The formula for generating traffic and leads is actually pretty simple. It just takes some persistence and patience. But the rewards are definitely worth the wait. Because I’m a Beachbody Coach, I’m often asked questions on Shakeology. I’m embarrassed to admit that I really don’t know that much about the shake. Don’t get me wrong, I drink it everyday, it tastes great, keeps me feeling full for hours, curbs my cravings for sweets, and keep my energy levels high all day long. So I know it is a great shake, I just don’t know exactly what is in it. I think because there so many ingredients that it is hard to give justice when I try explain it. I feel like I’m always leaving something out.

It is a good thing that Beachbody has a  handful of 3rd party tools available for Beachbody Coaches to use to help explain the product. There are over a dozen videos I can share through an email, audio CDs, DVDs, and brochures that I am able to give out to potential customers who are interested in learning more about Shakeology. I especially like sharing the Dr.s Don’t Lie video with potential customers. Why take my word for it when you can hear what Dr.s have to say about Shakeology.

The best way I describe Shakeology is that is a delicious shake that is high in protein, and contains many other ingredients that are great for your health. Pretty simple and accurate, plus I don’t have to worry about saying “too much” and giving the potential customer information overload.

Beachbody Has New Products In Development

Because I am a Beachbody Coach I constantly want to stay up to date on any Beachbody news that comes out. I’m “friends” with the CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, on facebook, and I follow him on twitter. Carl is always posting company news on both mediums, facebook and twitter. Recently Carl tweeted something about new products Beachbody was working on. I can’t remember exactly what he said, I when I tried to look it up so I could quote him exactly, I couldn’t find it. I’m sure it is out there somewhere in internet land, but after looking for 5 minutes I gave up. Looking for something for over 5 minutes on the internet is getting into some deep research and because I remember the jist of the tweet, the exact words are not too important.

The CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, said in a recent tweet, that 8 new products were in development and set to be released in the next few years. Again, don’t quote me on that, the exact number he said might be a little different, and the release dates are never set in stone, but either way, this is very exciting news for Beachbody customers and Beachbody Coaches.

For customers who love Beachbody’s workout programs, it is great to know that new workout programs are in the works. It is always great to be able to switch up your workouts, which makes them more fun and keeps the results coming.

The announcement of new products in development is especially great for Beachbody Coaches for several reasons. New products means a wider market to be able to connect with and make sales to. For example, one of the new products set to be released sometime in 2012 is a Tai Chi workout that is targeted at seniors. So now, as a Beachbody Coach, when I come across someone who is a little bit older, but sill looking to improve their health and fitness, I can recommend the Tai Chi program to them. An intense workout like P90x or Insanity is most likely too tough for someone in their 60′s or 70′s, but Tai Chi would be perfect for them.

Another reason new product launches are great for Beachbody Coaches is that because we already have a customer base, we have someone to market these products too. When you reach a certain level as a Beachbody Coach, Beachbody gives their distributors (Coaches) free customers. And anytime these customers buy something, the Coach gets credit and earns a commission.

Let’s take the recent launch of P90x2 for example. As at least an Emerald Coach for the past 2 years, I’ve been having customers constantly placed into my business through Beachbody’s customer lead generation program. These are customers that have called in and order a product through the infomercial. Many of the customer I received were people who called in and ordered P90x. While I don’t make a commission of the original phone sale, I am able to make a commission if they decide to later buy the P90x recovery drink, P90x protein bars, or any other Beachbody product. And these are the perfect leads for P90x2 orders. All I have to do is send out an email to my customers letting them know that P90x2 is now available, and when they order I make a commission. The chances are very high that they had great results with P90x and will want to order the sequel.

So as you can see, having an existing customer base, which Beachbody helped me build, can be a great asset anytime Beachbody launches a new product. So the news of 8 new products in development is awesome news.

Corey Hart Does P90x & Insanity

Professional baseball player Corey Hart is another name added to list of professional athletes and celebrities that use P90x. The list has been growing like wildfire and I’m sure I’ve missed a few, and I’m positive there are a lot more that have not yet come out of the closet, so to speak, and admitted that they are doing P90x. What is new is that now more and more people are starting to talk about and take notice of Insanity, Shaun T’s 60 day workout program that is guaranteed to take you from flabby to fit in only 60 day. Insanity is also produced and distributed by Beachbody, which guarantees it is a quality product. Beachbody refuses to put out their name on garbage, so you know anything you buy with their logo on it is worth 2-3 times what you paid for it.

In a recent article at www.jsonline.com, Corey Hart talks about his P90x And Insanity workout, this is what he had to say.

Hart works out to maintain the speed needed for range in right field, and his workouts have helped him build up to 234 pounds.

But with four kids and a crazy schedule, Hart doesn’t hire a personal trainer like a lot of his teammates.

“I’m the infomercial junkie,” said Hart.

So he tortures himself with P90X, a TV fitness workout, and when that’s been conquered, he tries Insanity. Its website warns: “You might just complete the hardest workout program ever put on DVD.”

The results have helped Hart play another solid season in right.

P90x is a great workout program. As a Beachbody Coach, and someone who personally uses P90x, it is great whenever I hear about of professional athletes using it and admitting publicly that it is a great workout that gets results. It says a lot when you see a professional athelete, who has time and the money to spend to worth with a big personal trainer if they want to, yet they still decide to pop in the DVD and press play. P90x reviews are always positive because it flat out works, there is no debating that.
