Ok, let me start off by saying that I am now feeling a little weird about talking about my Beachbody Coach income and posting my checks here on my website. I don’t want to come off like a douche bag or that I’m trying show how awesome I am or anything like that. I’m just sharing my story and showing what it possible to achieve with the Beachbody business opportunity.
Two and a half years ago, when I first started posting my checks and talking about the money I was making as a Beachbody Coach, it was only around $300 a month and I was happy to be making the extra money to cover the car payment. Over those two and a half years the Beachbody Coach income I’ve generated has consistently grown and in less than 12 months has doubled. In February of 2012, I earned just under $6500 as a Beachbody Coach.
It is important to know that in the early days of being involved in this business I made no money at all. I originally signed up as a Coach, and after having no success after a few months I quit because I didn’t know what to do and didn’t even understand how it all worked. After seeing others making it work, I knew I could do it too, so after waiting the required 6 month period to be able to re-join, I decided to sign back up and was determined to figure it out.
Why Am I Showing My Beachbody Coach Income?
“By age twenty five, most people have an idea of what profession they’ll enter, anything from a fishing guide to a surgeon. But forty years later, out of a typical 100 people, 5 are still working, 36 are dead, 54 are dead broke (or at least earning far less than when they were employed), 4 are well off, and 1 person is wealthy. Thus, the forty-year plan means that for four decades most of us go back and forth, like a silly, sick, caged lion … and yet at the end of that time only 1 out of 100 has something to show for it!” - Mark Yarnell, author of My First Year In Network Marketing
I’m posting my checks and showing my Beachbody Coach income because I want to be as transparent as possible. A big part of being a Beachbody Coach is sponsoring other Coaches into the business, so I want to show people what can be achieved if they are willing to put in a serious effort and treat this as a real business. The biggest mistake I see people making is signing up as a “hobby” or as something to just “try out”. In order to be successful, it has to be treated as a real business that you’ve invested thousands of dollars in.
I want to be clear that by showing my Beachbody Coach income I’m not trying to brag or anything like that, there are many Coaches doing better than I am and making much more money than me, but I won’t lie, it does feel good to be able to say, “I told you so”, to some of the people who laughed at me and told me I was crazy when I got started in this business.
As you can see from my older posts, I started off with a $17 check and have recently gotten a check for over $1900, this is how the the business model works, it starts off slow, and slowly grows and doesn’t stop. It grows slowly at first, which is where most people will get discouraged. It is important to understand how the business model of network marketing works, and the power of exponential growth.
My Beachbody Coach income is not a result of all my work, I have to thank my awesome team and give credit to them for the success I’ve had so far. Being able to build a team is what enables a Beachbody Coach to earn an unlimited amount of money, it is called leverage and what is needed to create wealth and residual income. In a tradition business, a business owner would hire employees which is a form of leverage. As a Beachbody Coach, the leverage comes from the team that you build. For example, if I can work on my business 10 hours a week, and I sponsor 10 people into the business that can can also spend 10 hours a week on the business, collectively, that adds up to 110 hours a week spent on building my business. And because I have a vested interest in seeing my teammates succeed, I do everything I can to support and help them. This is the perfect business model because it uses synergy and true teamwork.
Because I know my Beachbody Coach income will only continue to grow, I’m very excited at what the future holds. My long term goal (3-5) years is to get to $10,000/week, and because there are already many other Coaches making that kind of money, I know I will get there too, the only variable is how long it will take. With this business opportunity still being fairly new, and still only available in the United States, there is plenty of room for growth especially once we open up internationally.
Beachbody Coach Income – It’s Not All About The Money
“It is health that is the real wealth, not pieces of gold and silver.” -Mahatma Ghandi
Beachbody has amazing products that really can be life changing. While it is not required to be in perfect shape to be a Beachbody Coach, you will be expected to be using the products and working on improving your own health and fitness. This alone will be rewarding and improve your overall quality of life. Once you choose a workout program, and work your hardest to complete it, you will have great results and will not be able to NOT talk about it and share it with others. And after dropping 10, 20, or even 50 lbs, everyone is going to be asking, “how’d you do it?” And when you tell them P90x, Insanity, Turbo Fire, or whatever workout program you chose, you’ll be able to get compensated for your referral. As a Beachbody Coach you are a walking testimonial and billboard for your Beachbody Coach business.
Earn Money While You Sleep
Another great part of the business model Beachbody uses is that it allows me to earn money while I sleep, or am on vacation, or am doing whatever it is I enjoy doing. By building a team, I am building an asset that will continue to earn money for me whether or not I’m actually working. The majority of people in the workforce are just trading time for money, which means when they stop working, the money stops coming in, and because there are only so many hours in a day, they are limited to the amount of money they can make, which is why it is impossible to attain wealth when you are getting paid by the hour or working for a salary. It was Jim Rohn that said, “Profits are better than wages!” My Beachbody Coach income is profit, not a wage.

Can P90x work for someone who is very overweight or out of shape? I get asked this question all the time so I decided to make a post about it. The answer is yes, P90x will definitely work for some who is very over weight. The great thing about P90x is that all of the moves and exercises can be customized to the individual. There are beginner, intermediate, and advanced moves and techniques for all of the P90x exercise.
Lets take push ups for example. It is very likely that someone who is very overweight will not be able to do even one push up. So they can change their form to make it a little easier. Instead of getting up on their toes and feet, they would drop down to their knees. If doing a push up from their knees is still too difficult, they could stand a few feet away from a wall, facing the wall they would lean forward against the wall with their hands in push up form, and do push ups from the wall back to standing position. A person would start with the beginner P90x moves and eventually move their way up to the advanced form of the exercise.
Another common example of how an exercise move can be changed is with the pull up. Pull ups can be very challenging and it is very common for people to not even be able to do one pull up. In this case, the person would start out with resistance bands. These bands come in varying difficulty levels and a person could start low and work their way up, to eventually being able to do a few pull ups.
These are just a few examples of how the P90x workout can be changed to suit the individual. Each and everyone one of us is at a different fitness level and the creators of P90x have taken this into consideration. P90x is an intense workout that would definitely work for someone who is out of shape or over weight.
If you still think P90x would be too tough for you, there another workout call Power 90. Power 90, like P90x, is a total body workout. The main difference is the length of time of each workout. Power 90 is a great choice if you think you’re not ready for P90x.
Life can throw some tough challenges. Martha survives a traumatic experience when she was victimized in college. Martha became pregnant as a result from a date rape. Martha’s baby was born 10 weeks early, which resulted in Martha having to be put on bed rest, this is where she gained a lot of weight. Though she gained weight, she found the strength to feel good again. With the help of Beachbody’s Turbo Jam, Martha was eventually able to lose the extra weight and feel good about herself again. She also won $1000 from Beachbody’s Million Dollar Body game.

In an article titled Exercise Infomercials: We Try Before You Buy, ABC correspondent Becky Worley writes about how some products look good on television, but don’t necessarily live up to expectations in real life.
In this five-product review, Beachbody’s P90X measures up well—finishing second with a solid “B+”. In the video segment, Becky calls the program “Great Exercise Science.”
“This fitness DVD is extreme. The concept is 60-90 minutes of cardio, plyometrics and strength exercises each day with one rest day each week. If you aren’t serious about fitness, this video is overkill.
I consider myself someone willing to train hard, but I had to start really slowly with these workouts. It consists of the basics of push-ups, pull-ups, squats and lunges. It doesn’t require lots of weights. A pull-up bar is practically a must, although I know people who’ve done this with rubber resistance bands and swear by it.
There are also intense yoga, scaled back martial arts, and ab workouts that confuse your muscles, preventing them from getting too familiiar with any one routine.
One thing I really liked about these DVDs is the set of options for doing the workouts: You can watch with the instructor commentary and music on, or you can turn either or both off and just use visual cues while you listen to your own music or prefer silence.
This is not for fitness beginners or anyone who’s not willing to commit. It’s pricey and if you aren’t paying serious attention you could hurt yourself. But if you really want to get fit, this video is a serious workout with likeable instructors, decent variety and proven results.”
Aylsia, in her 40′s thought she’s never get her flat stomach and abs back after having twins. But after Insanity, her abs, along with the rest of her body are the best they have ever been. And that’s without doing even 1 crunch or sit up during her 60 day Insanity workout program. No weight, no gimmicks…just sweat. See her video below.
In this interview, when NBA star Jerry Stackhouse was asked what he has been doing to get in the best shape of his life, Jerry proudly told his secret, P90x. Another professional athlete using P90x and endorsing it publicly without receiving any compensation for his endorsement, more proof that P90x definitely does produce results. NFL players, MLB players, NHL players, MMA fighters, and now an NBA player giving glowing reviews of the P90x workout. If P90x is good enough for the pros, it has to provide great results.
More on Stackhouse:
Jerry Darnell Stackhouse was born on November 5, 1974 in Kinston, NC, to George and Minnie Stackhouse. He grew up the youngest of 11 children (seven brothers and four sisters.) It’s no wonder that Jerry became so athletic as he spent his childhood trying to keep pace with his seven half-brothers. Athletic talent runs deep in Jerry’s family. Jerry’s older brother, Thomas Dawson, was a basketball star at Lenoir Community College in Kinston, NC during the 1970′s. At one point during his tenure at LCC, he led the nation in scoring, averaging better than thirty-five points per game. “And that’s before they had the three-point line,” he boasts. When Craig Dawson, Thomas’s son (Jerry’s nephew), was a star at Wake Forest University. From the time Jerry could dribble a basketball, he tried to imitate his seven older brothers. “You try to do what they can do,” Jerry said. “Then, you try to outdo them.”
Jerry traces his ambition and unflinching intensity to his upbringing. His father, George, never missed his 4 a.m. shift as a sanitation-truck driver in Kinston. Even today, while he battles diabetes and has a millionaire for a son, George refuses to let anyone else chop his firewood or mow his lawn. Jerry’s mom, Minnie, is a minister and worked for years as a short-order cook at the Surf & Turf Restaurant in Kinston. Jerry put in some time washing dishes at Surf & Turf during high school. He also briefly worked at a tobacco warehouse, suckering tobacco. “Jerry worked about three hours and barely made it through one row of tobacco before he decided that he had to try something else,” says George.
Jerry was very athletic growing up, playing baseball and football in addition to basketball. In 1987, he won a baseball championship. “I hit so many homeruns, that they stopped pitching to me,” claims Jerry. Jerry earned an MVP award as a quarterback of the football team at Savannah Middle School. “I played quarterback because I was the best we had, but if I had played in high school, I would have been a wide receiver,” says Jerry. “I could catch anything. I didn’t play in high school but I went to every game, home and away.”
The sport that Jerry did play in high school was basketball. He became a legend as he scored a total of 2,039 in only three seasons at Kinston High School. His highest scoring game of 43 points came against Wilson High School. “My mom raised us to have confidence in what we did and to show respect for our opponents no matter what sport we were playing,” says Stack. He averaged an amazing 29.8 points, 13.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists during his junior year! Overwhelmed by college recruiters, overzealous reporters and jealous classmates, he decided to play his senior season at Oak Hill Academy in quiet Mouth of Wilson, Va.
Shaun T, Creator of Beachbody’s Hip Hop Abs and Insanity recently appeared on the Dr. Oz Show. The Dr. Oz Show covers a variety of topics related to weight loss, health, nutrition, and fitness. Shaun T reveals his 3 secret to great abs during the show, which are, tilt, tuck, and tighten. Shaun T even gets Dr. Oz to help demonstrate some of the moves for the audience.
Appearing on these popular shows is great promotion for Beachbody products and also the Beachbody name. Off the top of my head, I know that Beachbody products have also been mentioned on Good Morning America, Fox News in Atlanta, The Ellen Degeneres Show, on the red carpet at award shows, and by numerous professional athletes and celebrities saying they use Beachbody products to get in, and stay in great shape.
As a Beachbody Coach, having access to hundreds of these types of informative videos, like the one below, is a great tool that can be used as a helpful sales tool. I can include a link to this video in an email, on a facebook wall or message, or embed on a website or blog post as I have done below. And the best part is, Hip Hop Abs is truly a great series of workout videos that provides great results and that people enjoy. There is no misleading information given of the worry that a customer may be dissatisfied with the product. Great Beachbody products is what makes being a Beachbody Coach so easy, there’s really no “selling”.
Here is a great article by Larry Zimberg, the National Game Plan Director for Beachbody. His article talks about and explains the system Beachbody has set up for Coaches to be successful. When following this simple, duplicable system, anyone can succeed as a Beachbody Coach.
McNuggets On Clearance
By Larry Zimberg
Ever drive by a McDonald’s and see a gigantic “Going Out of Business” banner hanging over the golden arches? No? How about the McNuggets clearance sale? No on that one too, huh? Well, if you haven’t, it’s because it hasn’t happened and probably never will.
According to the Small Business Administration, franchises have an extremely high rate of success, while almost the opposite is true of an independent, small business. What is the main reason for this intriguing statistic? Well, when you buy a McDonald’s, what you’re really buying is a proven system and a blueprint for success. You don’t need to have a background in beef to be successful with a McDonald’s; you just need to go to hamburger school and follow the system. There is the small matter of coming up with a million dollars, but let’s set that aside for the moment, because the moral of this story is that people can fail, but rock solid, duplicable systems don’t.
How does all of this relate to our business here at Team Beachbody? It’s quite the same, really. BE SYSTEM DEPENDENT. Systems allow for duplication to occur. Duplication allows you to build leverage, and leverage is the favorite word of the wealthy. Confused? I hope not, but please allow me to explain . . .
The main goal in network marketing is to get a large number of people to do a few simple things over a consistent period of time. However, if everyone’s rowing in a different direction, the boat goes nowhere! Plugging everyone into a simple, duplicable system, and making sure that whatever you do can work 10 levels below you, 2,000 miles away, and with a dud talking to a stud, is how you get there. It really starts with having the right mindset. Before doing an exposure, always think: “Is what I’m about to do with this person something he or she can turn around and immediately do with his or her prospects?” If not, then you might want to reconsider your approach, because 80 percent of a new Coach’s training will be in the recruiting process. Using the system and 3rd Party Tools helps create consistency and reliance on a system, rather than an individual. This is especially important for new Coaches—who will duplicate what you did with them.
Duplication is the key to exponential growth in Team Beachbody. The goal of duplication is to duplicate or replace yourself so that you can achieve true walkaway residual income. It’s not your two-a-day that gets you there, but it’s 1,000 Coaches on your team doing their two-a-days. Duplication is what allows your efforts and the efforts of your team to multiply, which then results in you building leverage. Just remember that duplication begins with you. Your exposure process should leave the prospect being able to say: “I can do what you’re doing; I have the time to do what you’re doing; and I wouldn’t mind doing what you’ve done—with my family, friends, and neighbors.” When that occurs, growth is sure to follow.
J. Paul Getty once said, “I’d rather have 1 percent of a hundred people’s efforts than 100 percent of my own.” This is the principal foundation of effective wealth building—and of gaining time and financial freedom. It’s why wealthy people don’t teach their kids to be employees; they teach their kids to become employers. In life you’re either leveraging or you’re being leveraged. It’s one of the two. The good news is that you get to choose! Building leverage doesn’t happen overnight, but with a steady effort over time you’ll create a vehicle that will produce more income and you’ll have more time to enjoy it. That is why I love our industry. It allows the average person an opportunity to build extraordinary income and achieve the same leverage as a business-owner with thousands of employees. Only we get to do it by building relationships, making friends, helping people, and mentoring as many as possible.
Oh yeah, one last thing. Remember the million-dollar investment mentioned earlier? Well here’s the good news: You don’t need it to get started in Team Beachbody, and you can still build a six figure income. What you will need though is a willingness to work, a burning desire to succeed, and to be coachable and teachable enough to follow a simple, duplicable system, and if you do that, you can truly achieve your dreams with the great opportunity that Team Beachbody gives each one of us.
After all, wouldn’t you rather down an amazingly healthy and great tasting Shakeology® than a fat-laden, mega calorie, greasy old Big Mac? Great . . . Now let’s get out there as one unstoppable force, spread the word, and go touch some lives (using the system, of course)!
