Don’t Procrastinate When Deciding To Become A Beachbody Coach

Don't Wait To Become A Beachbody Coach!

Have you been thinking about becoming becoming a Beachbody Coach but want to wait for the perfect time to join? Maybe your life is real busy right now or you are waiting to save up some extra money to pay for the Challenge Pack you want to buy. Whatever the case may be, my advice is to stop waiting and get signed up as soon as possible. I recommend getting signed up today for a few several reasons.

Signing up today will force you to take action now. We all live busy lives and have things going on, the timing is never perfect for anything. Signing up today as a Beachbody Coach, and committing to improving your fitness, and learning the business, will force you to take the steps necessary to achieve your goals. Saying we’re “too busy” is usually just an excuse. If you are ever going to reach your fitness and financial goals, and achieve the financial freedom and time freedom you want in life, you are going to have to find the time to fit the necessary steps into your daily routine to achieve those goals. Success takes hard work and sacrifice. Trade one hour of television watching a night with working on building your Beachbody business. One hour a night may not seem like much, but you would be surprised at what goals you can accomplish over time by dedicating just one hour a night towards it.

If you are waiting to get started as Beachbody Coach because it is not in the budget, I’m calling bullshit. The price to get started is so low, anyone can find a way to fit it in their budget. For less than $140, you can sign up to be a Coach and get a month’s supply of Shakeology. Then after the first month, your total cost will be about $105 a month. If you break down that $105 charge into a daily cost, that comes out to be about $3.39 a day.

If you are replacing one meal a day with Shakeology, you will end up saving a little bit of money, most meals cost at least $5 or more. You also need look closely at some other daily expenses you are making and cut back on unnecessary purchases. For example, when I used to work in the construction industry, every morning I would buy a large coffee and bagel at Tim Horton’s, which cost me somewhere around $4. I decided I was going to replace those 2 items with Shakeology, it is much healthier for me and even saved me a little bit of money. Replace those daily 5 Hour Energy drinks, and Mountain Dews with Shakeology, and the price cancels itself out, and you’re getting healthy.

The above examples are not even including any income you have coming in. If you are actively working the business and making retails sales, it will only take about 3-4 Shakeology sales a month to be in profit. Making 1 sale a week is not very hard to do. This business opportunity is great because the cost is so low to get started that anyone can do it. If you really don’t have the money, take a chance and put it on a credit card, it may end up being the smartest purchase you will ever make on that card.

Another good reason to not wait to sign up to become a Beachbody Coach, and probably the most important, is because you could be missing out on potential “spill” that could be very beneficial to you and your business. If you are unfamiliar with the term “spill”, I will do my best to explain it here in a simple way. Because my Beachbody organization has 2 legs, a right and a left leg, and because I build both legs wide and deep, generally speaking, half of everyone I sponsor will also fall under you. And because I am a big recruiter, I am constantly bringing new Coaches into the business, and these Coaches could be falling under you, helping to grow your organization, and create more team volume for you. Another great aspect to the Beachbody business is that you are not building your organization completely by yourself, you get help from the people below you, and possibly the people above.

If you are thinking about becoming a Beachbody Coach, the smart move is to get signed up now and get positioned. This way, you won’t miss out on any potential spill. Also, it is important to realize that there is a learning curve involved with this business. It will take some to time to go through the training and learn how the business works and learn what sharing and marketing methods work best for you.

CEO Of Beachbody Answers Beachbody Coach Questions

Being a Beachbody Coach is unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of. I get paid to help people get healthy and fit and for sharing my experiences with Beachbody products I use. In my opinion, anyone can be successful with this business opportunity if the put forth the effort.

A cool part of being a Beachbody Coach is that I can have direct contact with the CEO of the company, Carl Daikeler. I’m able to be his friend on facebook, where I can write on his wall, comment on his posts, or send him a private message if I want to. I’m able to “like” his facebook fan page, where I can interact with him there to if I want, and I can also follow him on twitter, where he is very active and always posting motivational quotes and Beachbody related breaking news.

I like that my voice can easily be heard if it needs to be. This creates a certain transparency within the Beachbody business. Any Beachbody Coach related problem or issue that come up is always immediately addressed, sorted out, and explained. Carl could easily hide out somewhere in the corporate world, behind the excuse of being too busy with meetings and not having time to be messing around on twitter and facebook, but he does not do that. He is out there in the open, wanting to hear from the Coaches and the customers, and also wanting for us to hear him. I believe Carl truly believes what he preaches and it is great to part of such a great company.

Recently Carl even participated in a live chat that was broadcasted on Ustream.com. During the broadcast, anyone was allowed to come on and ask Carl questions. For anyone who is a Beachbody Coach, this is definetely worth watching, and if you are someone who is thinking about becoming a Coach, this is something that would also benefit you as well. The CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler announced some great news about an accomplishment the company has on his facebook wall yesterday. Since taking its first order back in 1999, Beachbody has officially crossed over $2 billion dollars in sales. This is a great accomplishment and is a milestone only the very top direct selling companies reach. I wish I had the yearly numbers and a chart to show how the sales numbers increase year after year. But I was unable to find that information.

It won’t be long before Beachbody is a billion dollar a year company. Their business opportunity, which is made up of a network of distributors called Beachbody Coaches, is still only available in the U.S. and plans to go international are on the horizon. As a Beachbody Coach myself, this is all great news. The business opportunity is still ground floor and their is plenty of room for growth. It won’t be long until Beachbody is rubbing elbows with some of the other international top direct selling companies like Avon, Amway, Vorwerk, Herbalife, and Mary Kay. all which do easily over a billion dollar a year in sales. It is great to be involved with such a great company. I’ve been a distributor with the company for 2.5 years and even in that short time I’ve been able to witness great changes they have made, and new tools and training they have provided to help all distributors grow their business. With new and exciting product launches on the horizon, and plans to expand into other countries, I’m sure Beachbody will eventually reach their goal of having 1 million Beachbody Coaches. This number may sound high, but when you compare it to a company like Avon, which as of Feb 2010, had 5.8 million active sales representatives worldwide in more than 100 different countries, you can see how reaching 1 million Coaches is a realistic goal which I am certain will not only be reached but surpassed.

Beachbody is a great company with great products. Customers who use and love the products are encouraged to sign up as Coaches, and they can earn some income recommending Beachbody products to their friends. It makes sense, most customers are already talking to their friends about the products anyhow.

Beachbody Has New Products In Development

Because I am a Beachbody Coach I constantly want to stay up to date on any Beachbody news that comes out. I’m “friends” with the CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, on facebook, and I follow him on twitter. Carl is always posting company news on both mediums, facebook and twitter. Recently Carl tweeted something about new products Beachbody was working on. I can’t remember exactly what he said, I when I tried to look it up so I could quote him exactly, I couldn’t find it. I’m sure it is out there somewhere in internet land, but after looking for 5 minutes I gave up. Looking for something for over 5 minutes on the internet is getting into some deep research and because I remember the jist of the tweet, the exact words are not too important.

The CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, said in a recent tweet, that 8 new products were in development and set to be released in the next few years. Again, don’t quote me on that, the exact number he said might be a little different, and the release dates are never set in stone, but either way, this is very exciting news for Beachbody customers and Beachbody Coaches.

For customers who love Beachbody’s workout programs, it is great to know that new workout programs are in the works. It is always great to be able to switch up your workouts, which makes them more fun and keeps the results coming.

The announcement of new products in development is especially great for Beachbody Coaches for several reasons. New products means a wider market to be able to connect with and make sales to. For example, one of the new products set to be released sometime in 2012 is a Tai Chi workout that is targeted at seniors. So now, as a Beachbody Coach, when I come across someone who is a little bit older, but sill looking to improve their health and fitness, I can recommend the Tai Chi program to them. An intense workout like P90x or Insanity is most likely too tough for someone in their 60′s or 70′s, but Tai Chi would be perfect for them.

Another reason new product launches are great for Beachbody Coaches is that because we already have a customer base, we have someone to market these products too. When you reach a certain level as a Beachbody Coach, Beachbody gives their distributors (Coaches) free customers. And anytime these customers buy something, the Coach gets credit and earns a commission.

Let’s take the recent launch of P90x2 for example. As at least an Emerald Coach for the past 2 years, I’ve been having customers constantly placed into my business through Beachbody’s customer lead generation program. These are customers that have called in and order a product through the infomercial. Many of the customer I received were people who called in and ordered P90x. While I don’t make a commission of the original phone sale, I am able to make a commission if they decide to later buy the P90x recovery drink, P90x protein bars, or any other Beachbody product. And these are the perfect leads for P90x2 orders. All I have to do is send out an email to my customers letting them know that P90x2 is now available, and when they order I make a commission. The chances are very high that they had great results with P90x and will want to order the sequel.

So as you can see, having an existing customer base, which Beachbody helped me build, can be a great asset anytime Beachbody launches a new product. So the news of 8 new products in development is awesome news.

A Great Way To Maximize The Beachbody Coach Compensation Plan

At first glance the Beachbody Coach compensation plan can seem confusing. Especially the part involving team building and team cycle bonuses. The individual retail compensation is very straightforward though, every Beachbody Coach earns a 25% commission from all of the sales that they make, that is pretty simple to understand.

I’ve already written a post on how the Beachbody’s team cycle bonuses work, so now I am going to tell you about a great way to maximize the compensation plan when it comes to building a team and earning cycle bonuses.

A great way to maximize the Beachbody’s compensation plan is by sponsoring your spouse into the business immediately after you have joined. You will want to get in touch with your sponsor and ask him/her which leg is most likely to be your strong leg, and you will then want to make sure your spouse is placed into your weak leg. If for some reason your spouse is placed into your strong leg on accident, don’t worry it is not the end of the world, there is another long term strategy you can use for this scenario as well, it will just take a little bit longer to put into affect. (I won’t go into that strategy right now, but if you are curious as to what it is, leave me a comment below and I will explain more. )

As a Beachbody Coach, you want to make sure that your spouse falls into your weak leg, because once you have team volume accumulated in your strong leg, you can make all of your own retails sales through your spouse’s business center. This will enable you to “double dip” all of your retail sales. You will earn the 25% commission, and a cycle bonus on all of your sales.

For example, from a typical Shakeology sale you would earn $30, but if you were also able to earn a cycle bonus on that same sale (if we round the pv up to 100 instead of 90), you would also earn a $14-$18 dollar cycle bonus in your main business center from your main business center.

So to clarify, the retail sale would be made through your spouse’s business center, which would earn the retail commission, and your main business center would earn the cycle bonus on that volume. So a Shakeology sale could earn you $44-$48 in commissions, instead of $30.

This strategy is allowed and even encouraged by Beachbody. It is the same as having 2 business centers. Also, keep in mind that when a Coach reaches 2 Star Diamond, they are allowed to open up a new business center. And as a Coach goes even higher in the ranks, they are allowed to open up to 25 business centers. So the earning potential as a Coach really is unlimited, and you can see that having the opportunity to open a new business centers is a good thing.

It is great to be a Beachbody Coach and be part of such an amazing company. Recently I made a post about Beachbody having an A+ Better Business Bureau (BBB) rating, now I am proud to announce that Beachbody has been officially inducted into the Better Business Bureau Hall Of Fame.

Beachbody was able to receive this recognition of excellence and great customer service by maintaining a record of having no outstanding complaints for 3 years prior to May 2011. Great job Beachbody corporate and your great customer service team. From my own experience, I’ve had nothing but extremely pleasant experiences when calling Coach Relations and customer service, which is rare these days. Customer service is a department that can easily be outsource to third party company to save a few bucks, which is why many big companies do it, but the quality suffers. It is great to see Beachbody running their own customer service department with smart, knowledgeable, and genuine people.

We're Not Beachbody Coaches...Just Hot Girls In Bikinis That Have Nothing To Do With This Post

I’ve come across many people who become a Beachbody Coach and start out with the completely wrong attitude. The are people who say, “I think I’ll give this Beachbody Coach thing try”. Maybe they have done P90x and had great results, maybe they love Shakeology, or maybe they just know someone else who is a successful Coach and want to sign up because it appears to be “easy money” with little effort.

Whatever the reason is for deciding to become a Beachbody Coach, you are setting yourself up for failure if you start out with the attitude of, “I think I’ll give this a try”. The reason this is the wrong attitude to have is because this is a tough business to succeed in and you can’t start out half cocked and just going through the motions. Being a Beachbody Coach is not something that should be treated like hobby. This a real business that needs to be treated as such if you want to grow a successful business.

The right thing to be saying when starting out with your Beachbody business is;

“There is nothing that is going to get in the way and stop me from growing a successful business”.

You have to plan on working hard and putting in the time and effort necessary to build your business. You will need to step out of your comfort zone and be persistent in the daily actions that will help you succeed. This all may seem a little over the top to you, but it is necessary. There will be times when your Beachbody business is slow, when members or your downline stop producing or quit entirely, and you will have second thoughts and think about giving up yourself, those are all normal things that happen to all of us. The key is is power through and stay on track.

Don’t get me wrong, it is still an option to sign up as a Coach and treat it like a hobby. You don’t have to be so “gung ho” and driven. You can passively market your Beachbody business throughout your daily routine and still make some decent extra income. But if you want to be a top earner in the company, and grow a large organization as quickly as possible, you are going to want to work as hard as you can. The faster you can get going the better you will be off in the long run.

The point of this post is to not sign up as a Beachbody Coach thinking you’re just going to give this a try. Know, with certainty, that you’re going to be successful building your Beachbody business and do everything possible to make that happen.

Beachbody Coach 2011 Coach Summit Wrap Up

Last weekend the Beachbody Coach Summit took place. The Summit is a yearly event where Beachbody Coaches from all over the country get together with each other, and Beachbody corporate executives and CEOs for special training, special announcements, special events, and just a general celebration of the success of the company. Coaches who attend Summit get a tour of the Beachbody Corporate headquarters in Santa Monica, California, and also get to workout their favorite trainer. Tony Horton, Shaun T, Brett Hoebel, Debbie Siebers, and Leandro Carvalho were all there and Beachbody Coaches got to meet them and workout with them.

Every Summit there are new and exciting special announcements made. This year, they announced that a new flavor of Shakeology will be released soon. The new flavor will be Tropical and Coaches who were at the Summit got the opportunity to taste the new flavor and have said it’s delicious. There was also a preview of the P90x2: The Sequel To P90x, and it looks awesome. They also announced a special offer to active military members. The special offer is that now all Coach start up costs, and monthly fees will be waived for any active military member, or their spouse, that wants to become a Beachbody Coach. This means they can now sign up to start building a Beachbody business, or just to take advantage of the 25% discount they receive as a Coach.

The Beachbody Coach Summit looked like it was a great time. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it this year, I was recently married and just got back from my honeymoon, so I was unable to travel to California to participate in the festivities. However, I was there in spirit. I am for sure going to the 2012 Summit, which will be in Las Vegas, and I have already registered and purchased my tickets and am looking forward to going. Beachbody has already said they will be announcing 3 new product launches at the 2012 Summit, I can’t wait!
