Typically, when starting out as a Beachbody Coach, you will have another full time job so the amount of free time you have to promote your new business is limited. This is fine and is probably the ideal situation because not much time is needed to get your business going and by having a job you’ll be able to keep income coming in while building your business.

Generally, being a Beachbody Coach does not require a great deal of your time. Being able to devote 1 hour a day to your business is more than enough. Whether you are writing or replying to emails, making a blog post, creating a youtube video, having a home party, or whatever your marketing methods may be, an hour a day is usually enough time to get things ton. Weekends are always an option also. For those of you who work long days during the week, it may be easier to spend 3 hours on a Saturday and Sunday getting some things done.

The Beachbody Coaches who use the workout programs and the ones who usually are successful, so a part of your day should also be spent exercising, after all, as a Beachbody Coach you should be a product of the product.

For those Beachbody Coaches lucky enough to have built there business big enough to be able to quit there full time jobs as have Beachbody as their main source of income, a typical day would be something like this.

Wake up and have a healthy breakfast or maybe replace breakfast with Shakeology. After breakfast send out or reply to some emails for a half hour to a hour. Do your P90x workout or whatever program you are current doing at the time. Make a blog post about your workout, Beachbody news, or whatever it is you feel like writing about. If you have some leads or prospects to call, make those calls for the day. Update your facebook profile with some motivational words of wisdom. Have some lunch. Now the rest of the day is free to do whatever you want. Take the dog for a walk, play with the kids, go shopping, clean the house, do whatever it is you want to do.

While it may take a some time to get to the point that I described above, it is definitely possible and many people are doing it already. This is what is great about network marketing, the possibilities are endless.

Is Beachbody’s Coaching home business opportunity a pyramid scam?

For some reason, many people associate network marketing and multi-level marketing companies with pyramid scams. I think it is because of the fact that to become a Beachbody Coach, you have to sign up under somebody, and that somebody benefits from everything that you do. Ok, sound I guess I could see how that could kind of bother someone, but how is it different from any other job where you work for an hourly rate?

Let’s use a sandwich maker at Subway as an example. A worker at Subway has to make subs and no matter what he gets paid the same hourly rate. If customers come pouring in and the worker has to bust his butt to keep up, he still gets the same pay as if the place was empty and he was just standing around. However, if you are the owner of the business, the busier you are, the more money you make. It seems kind of unfair that the busy Subway maker makes the same amount while the owner, who is generally not even there, makes more money. It is hard to stay motivated as an hourly worker.

Here is how the Beachbody business works in short; It costs $40 to become a Beachbody Coach, $0 of that $40 goes to the person you sign up under. If you sell something, you get a 25% commission, and everyone above you gets what is called Team Volume and they are able to earn small bonuses on that volume if they qualify for it. The only way the Coach you signed up under is successful is if you are successful. So they want to help and do everything they can to make sure you’ll be successful, everybody wins. It is a great concept.

The point is, at most  jobs, there is someone above you reaping the rewards of your hard work. You have 2 options, to be leveraged, or to leverage others. Joining a network marketing company and becoming the owner of your own business, such as Beachbody allows you to start “leveraging” others.

The famous billionaire oil baron John Paul Getty once said;

“I’d rather have one percent of the efforts of 100 people than 100 percent of my own efforts.”

From Unhappy Police Officer To Very Happy Beachbody Coach

Yesterday I had the privilege of hearing (and learning) from 2009 Top Beachbody Coach Mark Briggs. Once an overweight and unhappy police officer, Mark is now physically and financially ripped, a master of the Game Plan, and a firm believer in the old adage, “Pay it forward.” In the weekly Coach call Mark talked about how he is now living a dream by earning a living from just sharing what he loves, health and fitness. The first question I’m often asked is, can a Beachbody Coach really make money? The answer is a definite yes, Beachbody Coaches can make very good money, but like anything, it takes some work, dedication , and patience.

The average Beachbody Coach does not make very much money. There are many people who join hoping to get rich quick and easy. When they find out there is actually some work involved and that it needs to be treated like a real business, they give up. But for those Beachbody Coaches who put in the effort, the rewards can be great. The lowest amount a Beachbody Coach made in 2009 was $0, the highest amount was $932,118! That is correct, $932,118, that is true. The highest paid Beachbody Coach made almost a million dollars in 2009. Unfortunately I wasn’t the highest paid Coach, but my checks are getting higher and higher each week. With the growth I’ve seen in 2010, I predict there will be a handful of Beachbody Coaches that break the million dollar mark for the year.

It hasn’t officially happened yet, but I’d have to say yes, a Beachbody Coach can earn a million dollars a year.

When used correctly, network marketing can be a very effective way of growing a company. Beachbody was a successful company before they launched their home based business opportunity, and this is why they were very careful when setting up there home based business opportunity. Everything had to be just right in order for the business to work right. Beachbody easily could of just partnered up with retail giants like Walmart, and Target, and sold their products there. They probably would of even done very well in retail stores, but Carl Daikeler, and the other at Beachbody had a vision, they all used the products and truly believed they could be something greater than just products on the shelves at Walmart. This is why Beachbody started the Coaching home business opportunity.

Beachbody is still in the infancy stage and has the possibility to be the biggest network marketing company ever. One of the most important factors in a companies success is their products, Beachbody has great products that people love. Just look at the P90x exercise program it currently has 135,000 facebook fans! It is hard to find any negative feedback on P90x anywhere, and with the internet, that is very rare for any product.
