What If P90x Is Too Hard?

A common question people are asking is, what if P90x is too hard for me? This is a valid question, P90x is definitely a tough workout. P90x can be customized to the individual’s fitness level. Most of the moves and exercises have a beginning, intermediate, and advanced technique. There are also different levels of  resistance bands for you to chose from. With the resistance bands you could start low and work your way up.

Although P90x can be customized, it still may be too intense for some people. If this is the case a better option may be starting out with the Power 90, or P90 workout. Power 90 is the predecessor to P90x. Power 90 is still a great workout that you will see great results with. Both workouts, Power 90 and P90x were both created by Tony Horton. The Power 90 workout are a little bit less intense and shorter in duration. Power 90 is the perfect workout program to get you ready to tackle P90x.

The Power 90 workout program is made up of 4 workouts:

  • Sculpt Circuit 1-2
Easy moves to tone and firm your body. (29 minutes)
  • Sweat Cardio 1-2
Burn fat and shed inches. (36 minutes)
  • Sculpt Circuit 3-4
Next level for sculpting lean muscle tone. (38 minutes)
  • Sweat Cardio 3-4
Accelerated fat and calorie blasting. (42 minutes)

The Power 90 workout is based on a technique called Tony’s Sectional Progression where each move targets and individual muscle to guarantee growth and fat loss. So if you are thinking P90x might be too hard for you, consider Power 90. Many people have had great success with Power 90 and then went on to conquer P90x, you can too.
