I finally found time to watch Shaun T’s appearance on the Dr. Oz show and I thought it was very good. Shaun T was introduced and given credit for getting thousands people in shape with his hit workout DVDs. Shaun T went on to say that he does not believe in diets, they simply don’t work. If you go on a diet, you’ll eventually go off the diet and it is inevitable that you’ll gain the weight that you lost back. Instead of a diet, if you really want to lose weight, you need to make a lifestyle change and commit to it on a daily basis, everyday, for the rest of your life. That may sound a little extreme, but once you create these healthy habits for yourself, they are easy to stick to.

On the show, Shaun T gave some tips on how to eat healthy and below is what he recommends to eat for your 3 daily meals:

Breakfast:

  • 40% Carbs
  • 30% Protein
  • 30% Fat

Lunch:

  • 25% Carbs
  • 45% Protein
  • 30% Fat

Dinner:

  • 15% Carbs
  • 55% Protein
  • 30% Fat

As you can see from the recommended percentages above, fat stays the same for every meal. The concept behind this recommendation is to taper off your carb consumption throughout the day.

Shaun T also recommended that whenever possible, do not eat anything that can be on your shelf for more than week. For example, eating fresh fruit is much better than eating a fruit in the packaged cups that usually have a shelf life of at least 6 months. The fruit cups are filled with sugar a preservatives that aren’t good for your body.

Shaun T referred to sweet potatoes as a “miracle food” and said they should be consumed every day. They are filled with things  that are great for the body. If you want to proof, just look at Shaun T, he says he eats them everyday.

Shaun T then went on to demonstrate some moves from his Insanity workout. As usual, Dr. Oz was a good sport and participated in the exercises and also a girl from the crowd also participated…in heels.

Network marketing, or MLM, often gets a bad rap. There are many reasons for this that I won’t go into now, but one of the hurdles a Beachbody Coach must get over are the negative preconceived notions people have about network marketing. Ultimately, if someone does their research with an open mind, they will see that network marketing is a legitimate business model that has been constantly growing over the past 60 years. And now with the internet involved, building a network marketing business has never been easier. Network marketing is the business of the 21st Century. But don’t take my word for it, listen to this…Click Here

Beachbody was around for 8 years and already a successful company when they decided to launch their business opportunity using the network marketing business model. This could of posed as a problem to some of the people already involved with Beachbody, but as it turned out, the popular trainers, Tony Horton of P90x, Shaun T of Insanity, and Chalene Johnson of the Turbo Series all have nothing but good things to say about the Beachbody Coach business opportunity. Below is a video of Chalene Johnson and Shaun T talking about the business and what it means to them.

Shaun T Promotes Insanity On The 700 Club

Shaun T, creator of Beachbody’s intense workout program, Insanity, and the dance based workouts, Hip Hop Abs, recently appeared on the 700 Club TV show to promote his workout programs. Shaun T, the show’s host, and her neighbor, got in a short workout and demonstrated some of the exercise moves in his workout programs, which both have been getting great reviews and providing people with great results.

More on Shaun T:

Shaun T always had a love for dance. He first started making that love of dance into his career when he attended Rowan University were he majored in sports science and also minored in dance/theater. The thing about Shaun T is that he actually used his love of dance to personally lose 50 pounds, which later helped him design his popular workout program Hip Hop Abs. After graduating from college, Shaun T decided to make his way from New Jersey out to Los Angeles.

Shaun T found success out in Los Angeles doing what he loved:dance. He choreographed and danced for singers such as Mariah Carey and Nick Carter and also starred in musicals such as Pippin and The Ten Commandments. He also worked with companies like Nike, Marc Jacobs and the Los Angeles Lakers.

He has choreographed quite a few events in his life, even though he is still young. He has choreographed the NCAA final 2 halftime show, Aaron and Nick Carter’s music tour, the movie Bring it On: All or Nothing, and also was involved with collaborating with Kathy Smith on her fitness program Project You Type Two.

Shaun T On The Tyra Banks ShowShaun T is becoming a regular on talk shows. Shaun T has been on the Ellen Degeneres show, the Dr. Oz. show, and is now scheduled to appear on the Tyra Banks show tomorrow, Tuesday, February 23. A portion of the show is going to be on intense workouts and I have a feeling Shaun T is going to be promoting his popular workout DVD fitness program, Insanity.

To be honest, I usually don’t watch the Tyra Show, but I’ll be tuning in tomorrow to see how it goes and what Shaun T has to say.

I’ll update this post tomorrow on how it goes.

So I just watched Shaun T on the Tyra Banks show. Just as I had figured, Shaun T was promoting his workout program Insanity. Shaun T showed the audience some of his Insanity workout moves and at one point Tyra was down on the ground doing push ups, in 6 inch heels. Overall it was a good appearance for Shaun T, everyone in the audience was given the Insanity workout program as gift.

Shaun T Promotes Hip Hop Abs On The Dr. Oz Show

Shaun T, Creator of Beachbody’s Hip Hop Abs and Insanity recently appeared on the Dr. Oz Show. The Dr. Oz Show covers a variety of topics related to weight loss, health, nutrition, and fitness. Shaun T reveals his 3 secret to great abs during the show, which are, tilt, tuck, and tighten. Shaun T even gets Dr. Oz to help demonstrate some of the moves for the audience.

Appearing on these popular shows is great promotion for Beachbody products and also the Beachbody name. Off the top of my head, I know that Beachbody products have also been mentioned on Good Morning America, Fox News in Atlanta, The Ellen Degeneres Show, on the red carpet at award shows, and by numerous professional athletes and celebrities saying they use Beachbody products to get in, and stay in great shape.

As a Beachbody Coach, having access to hundreds of these types of informative videos, like the one below, is a great tool that can be used as a helpful sales tool. I can include a link to this video in an email, on a facebook wall or message, or embed on a website or blog post as I have done below. And the best part is, Hip Hop Abs is truly a great series of workout videos that provides great results and that people enjoy. There is no misleading information given of the worry that a customer may be dissatisfied with the product. Great Beachbody products is what makes being a Beachbody Coach so easy, there’s really no “selling”.
