Tony Horton Is One America's Fittest People Of All Time

Beachbody’s golden boy, Tony Horton has made the Men’s Health list of fittest Americans of all time! Tony Horton is the creator and trainer behind the popular home workout program P90x. If you haven’t heard of P9ox by now, you must be living under a rock. If you haven’t done P90x yourself, I am sure you know someone that has done it or is doing it. P90x is a great workout program that can be done by anyone and is has even become popular among celebrites and professional athletes.

I love seeing this type of publicity and exposure for Beachbody products. It helps create brand awareness and demand, which makes my job as a Beachbody Coach much easier. I don’t have to explain what P90x is because everyone already know what it is, by the time they get to me, they just want to know how they can buy P90x.

Congratulations to Tony Horton for making the list. Here is a list of a few other names that also made the list:

  • Chuck Norris
  • Jack LaLanne
  • Muhammad Ali
  • Carl Lewis

As you can tell from the list above, Tony is among legends. Tony Horton might be the most popular trainer in the world, he is in the homes of millions of people helping them get in shape. His entire catalog is estimated to have generated $500 million in sales revenue and that number is continues to grow. The reason for Tony Horton’s and P90x’s popularity is simple, the program works.

Clear your schedule, Tony Horton is going to be on the Dr. Oz show on Monday, October 31st. I don’t have details of the show, or even what the topic is, but Tony is always entertaining.

I actually watch the Dr. Oz on occassion when I can fit it into my day. It is a pretty good show, it mainly is about health and fitness, and I always pick up so good tips or learn something new evertime I watch.

The sequel to Tony Horton’s P90x, P90x2, is set to be released soon am I am sure Tony will find a way to fit in a plug for it, and the original.

Tony is also the fitness instructor feature in the hit workout programs, 10 Minute Trainer, and Power90.

Be sure to tune in Monday or set your DVRs so you can catch the show. I will make an update on Monday to this post to write about how Tony Horton’s appearance on Dr. Oz goes.

Maybe Tony will give Dr. Oz a sample of Shakeology and he can give a review of it.

When people think of Beachbody they immediately think, P90x, and maybe sometimes Insanity. That is because those are the 2 most popular products. But Beachbody consists of much more than just P90x and Insanity. Beachbody has dozens of workout to chose from and a line of great supplements that perfectly compliment the workout programs.

One of those workout is 10 Minute Trainer. Which like P90x, is led by Tony Horton. This workout is specifically designed for those who like to use one of the most common excuses, “I don’t have time to workout”. Unlike P90x, these workouts are only 10 minutes long so there is no excuse not to do them. They workout can be done as you soon as you wake up, on a lunch break, before you go to bed, or whenever you have 10 free minutes. So now there are no excuses.

Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer is designed to workout as many muscle groups as possible, in the littlest amount of time. It is great for busy moms, or workaholics who spend 70 hours a week at the office.

Recently Self Magazine tested and reviewed 10 Minute Trainer and gave it 4 out 5 stars, which is pretty good. This s what they the reviewer, Marissa Stephenson, had say about the workout program:

“I lost a few pounds and an inch off my waist in a month, even though I didn’t do the diet. The DVDs are so speedy, I could do two a day,  and I have the define arms to prove it.”

It is great to be a Beachbody Coach and seeing just about every single Beachbody product getting great reviews. Beachbody truly puts out quality that people love because they get results, that is the bottom line.

Tony Horton On The Jim Rome Show

Tony Horton, the creator of P90x did a phone interview today on the Jim Rome show. I tuned in to listen and Tony was already on, so I’m not sure how much I missed. It was a pretty good interview. Tony talked about how as a kid, we wasn’t very athletic, and although he was on the football team, he didn’t really play in games. Tony also talked about how he originally moved to California with hopes of being an actor and making it big as a movie star.

Tony Horton’s acting dreams never came true, but he did make it big in his own way. P90x has generated millions of dollars for Beachbody, the company that produces and distributes P90x, and I’m sure it has put millions in his own pocket also. In fact, I’d be willing to bet that Tony Horton is worth more than most actors.

Jim Rome asked Tony Horton what his opinion was on “cheat days” and if he ever has them. Tony basically said “cheat days” were unacceptable, a cheat snack every once in awhile might be ok, but it’s ridiculous to make an entire day out of it.

Jim Rome also asked Tony Horton about the highly awaited sequel to P90x, what it will be like and when to expect its release. Tony didn’t give a specific date, but said to expect the new P90x workout program to come out some time in the 4th quarter. Tony said it will be a lot different from the original P90x, there is no Cardio workout, and no kenpo workout. Tony said the new P90x will be filled functional exercises that will not only improve your body, but also your athletic ability.

At 52 years old, Tony Horton is prove that a healthy diet and exercise really is the fountain of youth, the guy is in amazing shape and is doing thing at 52 most guys in their early 20′s can’t even do. As a Beachbody Coach, I always love when the products I sell are mentioned on big time show’s like this. It creates product awareness and demand which is always good for growth. This is a great company to be a part of.

10 Minute Trainer Review From Busy Mom

10 Minute Trainer is Tony Horton’s answer to the, “I’m too busy to workout”, excuse. The 10 Minute Trainer workout program is made up of four, 10 minute workouts that work your body from head to toe.

  1. Cardio Workout
  2. Total Body Workout
  3. Yoga Flex Workout
  4. Lower Body Workout

Tony Horton created this workout for those who have busy busy and hectic lives, which is most of us. Now you can get in shape working out 10 minutes a day, 4 days a weeks.

Jane, a busy mom, found too hard to fit in time for exercise in between work and raising her children. Over time, Jane developed that “pair shape”, that has become common a look for most busy moms. Jane decided to make a change and did the 10 Minute Trainer workout program. She had awesome results and results and looks great.

Tony Horton On The Today ShowGreat News! More free publicity for Beachbody, Beachbody Coaches, and Beachbody’s products.

Don’t say we didn’t warn ya! This Monday, April 18th, the man behind the muscle—Tony Horton—will be the featured guest on NBC’s Today Show.

We know it’s ridiculously early for some, but tune in at 4:00 AM PT / 7:00 AM ET and catch Tony on the last hour of the show.

I’m guessing Tony is going to be promoting P90x and his book Bring It!

I’ll be tuning in and will update this post to talk about about Tony’s appearance, hopefully I can get a clip of the video to share also.

Update:

Tony Horton made his appearance on the Today Show with Hoda and Kathie Lee. It was a very short segment but was great publicity for Beachbody, P90x, and Tony Horton, it is a very popular show. The segment was kind of funny, those girls are always silly and I’ve only watched their show a few times but they’re actually kind of entertaining. I’m sure Tony Horton has a bone to pick with Hoda, towards the end of the clip she says “PX90″, instead of “P90x”. Get it right Hoda…lol.
