Did you sign up to be a Beachbody Coach thinking it was easy?
The truth is, building a successful Beachbody business is hard. Sure, it is fairly simple to make a few sales every now and then, which is great. But in order to earn the real big money that you hear about the leaders making, you need to be consistently sponsoring new Coaches into the business.
The good news is that the skills required to sponsor new people are learnable. Anyone can learn them. Every top producer in any network marketing company started out clueless as to what to do and how to get started. Most were scared to pick up the phone because they didn’t know what to say and were afraid of rejection. These shortcomings are there in all of us. But they can be overcome through education, practice, and persistence.
Most new Beachbody Coaches talk to a few of their friends and maybe a few family members, and when none of them are interested they get discouraged and lose their focus. To be a successful in network marketing, you need to be talking to at least 10 people a day about your business, and you can expect the majority of those people to not be interested in what you have to offer. The key is to not get emotional when someone tells you no, just move on to the next person. Basically it is just a numbers game. The person who gets the most no’s in this business wins every time.
The key is to have new leads coming in on a daily basis. You can buy leads, or use a website or blog traffic to generate leads, but you must have new leads coming in. Once leads are coming in, you have to get them on the phone and you have to learn what to say to them. If you can master these skills, you will do great as a Beachbody Coach.
These are 2 products that I highly recommend that will teach some highly effective methods of sponsoring people, and how to talk to them on the phone, and overcome your fear of the phone:
- Magnetic Sponsoring – This book has kind of become the bible when it come to combining internet marketing and network marketing. The book is about 4 years old, and there are a few things in it that I don’t agree completely with, but the concepts and ideas talked about are great and definitely worth the price.
- Blackbelt Recruiting – This audio training is perfect to listen when you are in the car driving to and from work, or wherever you’re going. Instead of listening to Kelly Clarkston, pop in these CDs and learn how to talk to people about your business and how to handle any objection.
To get the best deal, I recommend ordering Magnetic Sponsoring, and during the checkout process, you will be given an one time offer to purchase the Blackbelt Recruiting at a discounted price. Click yes to take them up on that offer to save about $50.
I purchased these products myself, and they were well worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t think they were worth it. I’m not going to say that these training courses alone are the “end all, be all” to your business because they are not. But they are a gateway to further your education, and an investment in yourself to increase your values to others.
I am constantly buying new books, and training course to help me learn and improve my skills. If you ask any leader in the industry, they will tell you they have spent a fortune in training to get where they are, and that it was worth it. Just in the past few months I have spent about $700 on the training items I’m holding in the picture above. I’m holding the 2 items I mention above, and the No Excuses Summitt II DVDs, which I also recommend, but that one is kind of expensive, although I’m not sorry I purchased it. If I can pick up just one thing from these courses that I can apply to help grow my business, I’m happy.

Just to be clear, I’m not saying to go out and buy every expensive tool and new “system” that is out there, especially when it comes to software, or special new “one click” programs that claim they will generate you thousands of dollars overnight. There is a lot of hype out there and it is easy to fall for, I’m guilty of it myself. What I am saying is to not be afraid to spend money on real training that will educate you and help you acquire the skills and abilities necessary to be successful in this business. No one is going to force you to do it, or do it for you. Your success is entirely up to you.
