I started the Ultimate Reset today so I will post a daily review each night in this thread.

Day 1 of 21

MEALS:

BREAKFAST – Scrambled Eggs, Whole-Grain Toast, Kale

LUNCH – Microgreen Salad, Basic Vinaigrette Dressing

DINNER – Chicken (substituted for Salmon), Asparagus w/Lemon, Boiled Baby Potatoes

I’m not much of a cook, but these meals weren’t difficult to make. I was hungry in between breakfast and lunch, but after eating the Microgreen Salad, I was fine until dinner. After looking through the entire list of week 1 meals, I decided to only substitute for one of them and go w/Chicken instead of Salmon tonight. I dislike fish a lot so as much as I wanted to eat the Salmon, I couldn’t do it…haha.

SUPPLEMENTS:

MINERALIZE – 4 pinches

OXYGENIZE – 30-45 drops

OPTIMIZE – 6 capsules

ALKALINIZE – 1 packet

I personally didn’t care for the taste of the Alkalinize, but the portion is small enough to be able to deal with it once/day. The rest of the supplements are basically tasteless in water.

WATER:

Drinking DISTILLED water is extremely important during the Reset. Headaches can be a side effect of the Ultimate Reset as your body is getting rid of all the toxins so staying hydrated is key to helping keep the headaches to a minimum. Based on my weight this morning (258), I decided to drink a gallon of water (128 ounces) today and will continue to do so for the entirety of the Reset. From my understanding, you’re supposed to drink (in ounces) “half your weight.”

TIME-LINE:

9:00am – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)

9:30am – Breakfast

2:10pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)

2:40pm – Lunch

5:30pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/ALKALINIZE)

(You can eat a snack 30 minutes after taking this portion supplements, but I didn’t need one.)

8:30pm – Supplements (MINERALIZE/OXYGENIZE/OPTIMIZE)

9:00pm – Dinner

THOUGHTS AFTER DAY 1:

I knew coming into the Ultimate Reset that the biggest challenge for me will be to eliminate diet soda from my daily routine. And after doing the Reset today, I was right. It is really, really tough for me to eliminate diet soda, but I’m going to try my hardest to keep it out of my system during the Reset.

Other than between breakfast and lunch, I wasn’t really hungry today which was surprising to me. Not sure how this will change (if at all) going forward, but I was pleasantly surprised at not being hungry all day. I think drinking a lot of water throughout the day as well as 5-10 minutes before meals helped keep my appetite down.

GOALS:

1) Although losing weight is not my main goal of the Reset, I would like to lose 15 lbs after the 21st day and get down to 243.

2) My main goal is to get my body in a better “state” after 21 days as I hope to start INSANITY after finishing the Reset. I tired INSANITY before, but I was in such terrible shape, I only last about 5 days. I’m hoping that after completing this Reset, my body will be better able to handle the INSANITY workouts.
