Here is Cheryl’s review of the Insanity workout. After having a hysterectomy, Cheryl felt as if she had an inner tube around here waist, commonly referred to as the “spare tire”. She hit the gym hard, for four years trying to get rid if the “spare tire” around her belly. After four years, it got to the point where Cheryl was considering having a tummy tuck surgery to eliminate her “spare tire”.

Insanity is a 60 day workout program that is said to be the hardest workout ever put on video. So don’t expect Insanity to be a cake walk though, anyone who decides to do this workout program is in for a challenge and will test themselves physically and mentally. Losing weight and getting in shape is hard work. If it were easy, we’d all be walking around looking like Brad Pitt in Fight Club.
The Insanity workout program is made up of 10 different workouts and they average a little under an hour long. Some if the workouts are said to burn over 1000 calories in hour, talk about Insane!
The secret to Insanity’s success is what is called MAX Interval Training. MAX Interval Training involves long periods of high intensity exercises, with short periods of rest. This is a super intense workout program. The reason anyone can do Insanity is because there are ways to modify the moves for beginners, and you can go at your own pace and take breaks whenever you need them. High intensity is different for every one of us, so it is up to you to push your limits and find your intensity level. The trick is to get as close to your breaking point without going over it.
Every Insanity workout will keep you challenged. The workout schedule is set up to rotate between aerobic and anaerobic exercise that you will perform to your max. After 60 days you will be amazed at the changes made in not only your appearance, but also your fitness level. After 60 days of Insanity you will be able to do things you never thought possible. But as Shaun T says, you’ll have to “Dig Deep!”
