You’d have to be living under a rock to have never heard of P90x. It is almost impossible not to come across the infomercial at some point during your channel surfing on an early Sunday morning. Often the P90x infomercial is being aired on more than one channel at the same time. Like every other Beachbody infomercial, the P90x one is based on testimonials from people who claim to have done the workout, and of course they all have had amazing results. But are these people in the P90x infomercials real people, or are they actors?
I’m skeptical of everything. I’m the, “believe it when I see it” type, or often referred to as the, “I’ll be the judge of that” guy. There is just so much crazy marketing and outrageous claims out there that it is hard to determine what is really real and what isn’t. So by default, we just assume nothing is ever what it claims to be.
With that being said, the first time I saw the P90x infomercial I was like, “yeah right, those people are actors.” This crap ain’t real.
I hate to admit it, but for the third time in my life, I was wrong. It has been about 3-4 years since I have first seen the P90x infomercial and in that time a lot has changed. I’ve become a Beachbody Coach, and have even met a few of the people that are in infomercial. These are real people and their stories are real. The people in the P90x infomercials are not actors and all of the P90x reviews are real.
P90x has become so popular for one reason, it works. Anyone at any fitness level can get great results if the stick to the P90x workout program, and thousands of people have. Just do a YouTube search for P90x results, and you will get thousands of video that show real people who have got amazing results with P90x.
So to get back to the original question, are the people in the P90x infomercial actors? The is definitely no, those are real people.
